All of my Mac using friends love their Macs and none of my Windows friends are in any hurry to try Vista. It all depends on what you need your laptop for and what you want to spend for it. I really believe that MS have shot themselves in the foot with Vista, I only know of 2 offices that have made the switch. The extra hardware expense in upgrading ALL your PCs to a level that allows them to run Vista is going to have office managers looking for ANY alternative. And don't even get me started about networked printers under Vista.
