This post is part of the guest blogger experiment.

As part of being in the blogging community, it takes a lot of work to manage a blog. You have to work on your traffic, exposure, and especially your content. Although it may be easy for most bloggers to write content, other serious bloggers are writing for SEO. But there is more to writing content than that. Remember, you write for your readers as well as for search engines.

Over at my site, Slyvisions, I have posted tips for writing great content the right way. Let me just go over some of the things posted there. To write better blog posts, don’t forget to consider these tiny things that can make a huge difference to your readers.

  • Get Your Point Across. When writing a blog post, the topic should be talked about more than anything else. The content should be related to the blog post title.
  • Write Scannable Content. You actually think you’re readers are reading every single word you wrote? Make them scannable! Put important words and phrases in bold for example.
  • Don’t Make Posts Lengthy. Again, not all you’re readers read everything word for word. Write what they want to see and don’t make it too long. By the time you’re readers see how long the post is, don’t expect them to read it. First impressions lead to a lasting and loyal readership.

After applying these little blog tips, you are surely helping yourself get more loyal readers and traffic. Don’t forget that they came to your site to see your content, so give them what they want!
