Why The John Chow Affiliate Scheme Sucks

The Big Beef asked us if we’d be interested in doing a little review about his newly launched TTZMedia affiliate program, and we agreed because we know the poor guy needs all the attention he can get. We’re even so kind as to give him a special spot in our sidebar. For example; We know for a fact that John’s hosting bill for his online ventures last month was nearly twice the amount we made in our best month so far!

TTZMedia now accepts most bloggers out there into their program, and to give you that little push you need as a lazy blogger, the affiliate scheme that comes with the account promises all of us 10% on what the referred sites make for 12 months. There’s no limit to the amount of referred sites and the minimum payout is quite low, at just $25.

We can’t tell you how much we’ve made with TTZMedia, because we only ran those ads for about a week in the very beginning of this blog. Our choice back then was to implement Google Adsense because we were still under the assumption that Google makes other people money. We know better now and the only one Google is making money is Google. We’ve taken them off and don’t expect ever to use them on JohnCow dot Com again.

johnchow.jpgSo why does the John Chow Affiliate Program Suck? Well it doesn’t really, we just wanted a catchier headline than the hundreds of ‘plain’ ones that have been posted since the affiliate program went live for the public. If we had to think hard for a reason, it’d just be the fact that it’s not the John Cow Affiliate Scheme  Lets see if Mr Chow can earn a spot in our recommended money makers list!

The first time I glanced at the picture of John at the end of the article, I was a bit surprised to see him wearing (what I thought were) green washing up gloves! lol

I guess novely over-sized green fists are ok instead though….

Great. Misleading titles and a post with no content whatsoever. Time to unsubscribe from John Cow I think.

It does suck .. I am currently running TTZ on my arcade website and

it only allows 1 click per IP address, so if a buyer clicks more than one ad you only get paid for the 1 click, the widgetbucks is better it pays you for all clicks

TTZ Media isn’t really appropriate for my blog so I haven’t signed up yet, but I did post about the contest because I want a new monitor >:)

Interesting that you are back to testing Google Adsense. Why the change?
