There's some psychology there, no doubt. I never noticed it before, but when I think about it, I don't pay much attention to guest blog posts in general. I suppose it's because of the hype surrounding guest posting (ie everybody is doing it) that devalue the posts in my eyes because everybody is just doing it to help themselves. Or something.
