This is just a quick thank you note to Darin from Darin.cc who’s contest brought us a brand new in the box PS3 with 5 HD-DVDs!
We might have had our bike stolen earlier this week and won an iphoney, but this just made our month! As soon as it’s in, we’ll make a couple of pictures to show you guys what you’re NOT getting from us 
Loads of you were already expecting us to just throw it in another competition but we’ve decided to keep this baby for ourselves! Don’t worry, we’re giving away $500 in our cash competition this month so you can go and buy one yourself anyway. We’ll hook em up and play you guys online!
We’d also like to congratulate Miss Danielle for winning the Wii Darin was giving away along with our new PS3. She should get Rayman Raving Rabbits because we’re sure Binky would like to have a go too!

If you know how much a console fanboy I am, you will know the disappointment I felt for not being drawn as the lucky winner of the Playstation 3 giveaway contest. That superdeluxubercool tech toy was in factwon by the cow himself. So it is pretty much a given that I will be buying a Playstation 3 console if I win the $500 this time. With whatever loose change remaining (most likely need cash top up myself), I will grab the latest games and have a blast off in cyberspace with

Not that I’m knocking blog contests, or suggesting even for 1 moment that the draw process could be in anyway fixed but it does seem the more exposure a potential winner could bring to a blog the more likely they are to win? Just maybe, perhaps>

A PS3 + HD-DVD’s? I thought Sony was Blu-Ray all the way.
Isn’t that like, almost the same and stuff?
No it’s not. I know if you recently purchased a blu-ray player, there is a promotion where you can mail in the proof of purchase for 5 blu-ray movies. Sadly HD DVD seems to be the winner lately between the two because I honestly feel blu-ray is much better.
Make $7,000 with TLA? $1,370 a week? This is one of the most aggressive Google Adsense campaign I’ve seen for a long time. I wonder what’s next.
Congratulations. I really wanted that PS3 since I’m still rocking a PS2 these days. Haven’t made the move to the next-gen systems yet.
It’s all about Nintendo DS.
Wii for very drunken nights in with your mates. 360/PC for serious gaming. Play Station for the kids.

Steve Jobs must have heard about how some people scam cows off their iPhones because today, an announcement was made that their would be a drop in the iPhone pricing! 4GB reduce from $499 to $299 and 8GB from $599 to $399. That’s a $200 price drop only after a few short months since it’s release! You can see the new prices here directly at the Apple Store:

Talk about a SCAM! Raking in all the cash from the early adapters and once the initial hype rush is over, make em affordable for everyone else!

Yeah, I would be pissed if I just payed $600 for one. Less than a week ago I purchased a yearly magazine subscription to Business 2.0, and today it was announced they are closing. I was pissed at losing that $20, but $200? Blah, that would be unfortunate.

Thanks for the great reviews! I just picked up a PS3 and was looking for game reviews before I bought new games.
I also highly doubt about that too. Like Rea Maor for iphoney said nothing is free. Maybe that’s why Rea Maor select cow for the winner. Coz Cow maybe the highest traffic in all his participants. Maybe other blog contester do the math too.
I will try to stay away from blog contest as much as possible.
I sure hope they are not rigged because some bloggers do win multiple blog contests while others have won nothing.
I agree for some reason the bigger contests go to bigger bloggers, I don’t see too many little bloggers winning too many contests.
Hah, I spent like 20 hours the past month beating Final Fantasy 3 on the DS. That game was addicting…
Umm no Blu-ray is kinda winning, it is about 5 to 1 blu ray players. Also just because blu-ray is Sony doesn’t make it the best, HD DVD is cheaper and inovative, players are around 200 bucks now!
