Thus we got a lot of dull filler episodes intermixed with occasional exciting ones. Now that they've gotten the network to agree to a finite end of the series they should be able to stay focused. I agree with the thought that blogs can sometimes end up like that, a lot of filler material along with some really great articles. The pressure is on with a blog to keep producing new 'episodes' daily. But, we can always do 'clip shows' (link posts) and 'spin-offs' (guest writers). Hopefully, few bloggers will attempt 'very special episodes' though.
