This is THE question. I know...there are major parts that make up the question but in it's simplest form, that's what you MUST answer. Knowing why you do it, will determine EVERYTHING else. If you have no direction, you have nothing to work towards, you goals will constantly change because you don't know the result ( reason) you are working towards. We're afraid of uncovering aspects of ourselves that may not be as noble as we would like or that we've been brought up to think of as 'bad'. At least admit these things to yourself even if you don't want to share them with others. Anything that is built on a foundation of lies, even the ones we tell ourselves (especially the ones we tell ourselves!) usually doesn't stand the test of time.
