Us cows were getting so popular, we outgrew the most expensive VPS (Virtual Private Server) package our host could offer, so here we are on our own dedicated little server! Some of you might have noticed a bit of downtime here and there after we switched our DNS records with GoDaddy and after we kinda forgot to mount our /home partition. But hey, that’s all in the past and we’re now more than able to deal with our A-list future!
Some comments might have gotten lost in the transition and we apologize for this. We swear we didn’t delete anything! *cough*unless your name was johnbuffalo*cough*

Right, who’s a geek and wants to know what the hardware specs of our brand spanking new pizzabox are? Nobody? We don’t care, we’re gonna lay it on you anyway! moo-haha. (evil cow laugh).

It’s one of those in the picture and it’s running on some program the humans called Linux, pretty cool huh?! We don’t know who that guy is but he’s famooos now! It’ll take a little while before the DNS has been propagated to the rest of the Internet so not everyone can see this post yet, consider yourself one of the lucky ones  We hope you enjoy your stay on the new pasture!

I’m going to chill for now, no need in purchasing all that equipment just for a couple of sites. it serves me (and you all) very well. Only thing I really need is more bandwidth.

Well if you would really like to know, the internet has plenty of sites that are dedicated to that kind of information. Just do a search on Google. Also visit Digital Point forums, those guys over there have a wealth of knowledge and they can point you in the right direction on these issues, as well as SEO, pagerank info and differences among the big search engines. DSL Reports (dot com) also serves as a great resource.

For more complete details I bet you could also ask Mr. Cow since he is implementing those types of procedures right now with this site.

Good job with the dedicated server! Site seemed a little faster to load actually. Good stuff.

WoW dude, what’s that run you? How would you know if/when you need to switch that stuff. Isn’t that like a “dream” of webmasters to get enough traffic to go dedicated?
