After a week of working hard to get this tribute for the big grazer just right, we were honored by the holy cow himself with a brief visit. Eagerly anticipating his words of wisdom in our comments, not even the slightest form of recognition was left behind for us to cherish. Just an empty picture with his image on the wall. Was he too busy counting his sheep or has the milk gone sour?!
Then again, he might have thought that a mere comment would not reflect the size of his appreciation and as we speak he could be typing up the greatest “Thank You” post in cow’s history. Time will tell. Our united efforts shall not be diminished by demoralization, nor shall our hard work be undone by the lack of rewards. For I know real people are reading us and real people love cows!
One of the other big grazers, who’s soul was not captured by our print screen, has acknowledged his indirect support of our cause by signing up to the RSS feed. That’s good, cows need love too.
Ok, cut the bullshit already! There’s one thing I have been wrecking my head over. Why does our favorite grazer still use the likes of reviewme? Even though it looks like he is making $400 per review, only $200 lands in his deep pockets. I hope poor Leo isn’t disillusioned now. Why does he not cut out the middleman and lower his prize to $300? He’d gain $100 per review and the customers who have to pay $100 less would probably be more willing to buy. He does not need the exposure or potential customers guided to him. He build his blog and they came. Or is it to look get a more exclusive look? What’s expensive must be good right?
By the way, the sign on your right which says $40 is broken, a 0 fell off and it’s actually supposed to say $400 per review.

The Big Beef uses ReviewMe because he knows the guy who owns it and the marketplace sends him lots of advertisers. He doesn’t get many requests for reviews from other bloggers and most of his reviews are from companies or “sites” as opposed to blogs. Lots of these companies find him through the marketplace as they are not readers of his site.
Big Beef..haha, yeah I suppose it’s important who you know in that business.

Every time I see this, I think of the main JC. Maybe he should be JC1 and John Cow JC2.
i disagree fully, it we are talking about serving our readers, i say johncow is JC1 and johnchow is JC2
I think we need the man himself to chime in, and give us his thoughts! Would you want to be JC1 or JC2?
Or he could be really evil and claim just JC!!
i think he is doing it for the prestige of it, status saying that no other blog can boast such a review me number, but i have monkey wrench dream that john cow will have a higher rating and win one for the runt cow

I was once graced with the Holy Cows’ presence as well, no comment just a brief photo on MyBlogLogs’ tracker, on a blog where I mentioned his blog..of course.
You guys are so lucky. I haven’t gotten any bovine blessings as of yet.

I think he recognizes how big this site has gotten, and he needs it in order to stay big and relevant. Sounds a lil crazy, but the love here is so big, he simply HAS to acknowledge it!

Man, thanks for knocking off that 0 at the end of $400. $400 is a hell of a price to pay just for a review.
he’s with reviewme because of the exposure he gets on their site … just like Agloco!
