How fast can you get a brand new domain indexed and ranking in Google?
I am talking brand new… not an expired or aged domain… one that has never been used before… and I am not talking just getting indexed, I mean ranking and getting traffic for your main term(s).
Here is what happened…
- Purchased brand new domain on December 30th 2009
- Built the blog and published its first post on December 31st 2009 (built this 100% myself and did not outsource anything)
- Started promotion on December 31st 2009
- Was indexed in Google on January 1st 2010 (less then 24 hours)
- Page one rankings for target terms January 5th 2010 (5 days)
What terms?

OK now before any of you grumpy bastards speak up and say…
“Anyone can rank for those kind of terms… blah,blah,blah…”
Then build a brand new site and go make yourself money and prove it to us all that it’s easy. Must be a brand new domain too… no aged domains.
OK, hopefully I headed off the annoying people right off the bat. Now for the rest of you that actually see value in this and realize that if you can repeat exactly what I am doing here for other product launches you can rake in HUGE bucks… well, then listen up.
First of all, these words are very targeted traffic and they are bringing in VERY good traffic to the blog already. With this campaign website, if it only makes one sale of the main product its promoting it will have achieve a ROI of over 1000%….. that’s just one sale and for the amount of targeted leads it’s generating I have no worries.
I am not spending money on PPC, Media Buys or anything else… it is all based on unpaid search and social traffic.

OK it looks you are not impressed with me too. So here is my story. Disclaimer: I confess, I do not earn any money.
I started a blog on dec 10, got indexed in 24 hrs and now my blog has 40 + subscribers. Got a PR 1. Got good traffic. No money invested in promotion (I never invest).
You still do not look impressed. Well I am not impressed with myself as well but please do not brag things like that.
I will only be impressed with this only if you tell me you have not invested a dime after starting the blog. When I say not a dime, I mean no money at all.
I want an answer.
Huh… i am ranking for my own keywords… what are you talking about? How are any of those “My” keywords? I am ranking for the exact keywords i targeted… please tell me Agent Deepak… whatcha talkin bout cause your comment is really confusing???

By the Jason which site you started. Can you give me the link. I tried two of the keywords but unable to figure your site.
So you are saying that ranking on a brand new domain for your primary targeted traffic keyword is nothing to brag about. Can you do me a favor then, buy a brand new domain and do it without paid links… just straight seo… then i will listen. It’s not that i don’t believe you but lets see you do it… you kind of got aggressive on your response so show me. I am not talking about ridiculous long tail terms no one searches for… i mean getting a site ranking for its main traffic term and getting 150+ visitors a day within 5 days.

Agent Deepak, no offense but what the hell are you on about? It’s sort of like comment spam but then it’s a long comment. Makes no sense at all. Such a whacky comment that I actually went and checked out your site.
I have seen the Amit video and he has done a wonderful job that there is still a hope to new marketer even you fail in Google or PPC.

The videos from Amish are suspect. I noticed that in the example he shares, the number of clicks for NeverBlue’s CPA campaign were MORE than the number of clicks for the Adwords campaign. That means he is driving traffic from other sources. That isn’t a bad thing in itself but then the net revenue numbers he claims are also not true since he didn’t disclose the cost of the additional traffic…hmmm.
He’s not paying for clicks straight to the offer, he’s paying for clicks that land on a landing page. The same visitor can then click on an affiliate link 50 times! Every single system I’ve ever used counts individual clicks in a different way – try it yourself. I’ve never got stats to match up even when direct linking. You’re looking for problems that don’t exist.
agent deepak is gay. wow. I did something similar to what you are talking about, but with only one keyword. It was a bit harder too. Perhaps more competitive. It took me about 2 months to rank top 5. Did you use a paid linking strategy?

Excellent content, I liked the video aswell. I just checked the blog you managed to rank high, and it’s very impressive, considering that I did not see too many backlinks to it. I am definitely interested in how you did it, good job!
Anyway, I opted in with my primary e-mail address (lol, you can see I want to get your material), but still did not get your “report” so far.

Lol, after some research I realized that you do have LOT of backlinks. But the mix of backlinks you use is very interesting, nice trick! Would like to know how you did it, but I am a bit afraid of the answer that you are simply the owner of those sites…

I am really impressed, and I want to learn what you’re teaching. It usually takes a long time to get ranked for a brand new domain, at least it does for me
I have used paid text link ads in order to get ranked faster, I think it helped, but it wasn’t anywhere close to five days to get a top 10 ranking.
Thanks for this great information Mr. Cow. You got some serious skills creating websites and getting them ranked in Google in less than 24 hours. Another key element to success like this is getting in on the product launch before it goes live.

Uh, Deepak and Gustey, can you guys not read? Jason said in his post he did not pay anything for traffic! And, how is he bragging? I took it as inspiration as to what is possible in a short time frame, doing the work all by yourself and not paying for traffic. Duh.
As someone who is trying to gain page 1 rankings for low competition terms (or least few competing pages), I can say it’s not easy, especially if you rank under broad match and it sticks! If the nay sayers think it’s no big deal, why are you even bothering to post here? I’d be spending my time using my SEO skills to scale my inventory of web sites getting traffic, conversions and cash…
It could just be that I did a lowsy job of my competitive research, or that between two young kids, and two long cold winters (with a crappy summer in between) in Calgary has finally killed my brain. Could be my misspent youth too, but whatever it is, it is NOT easy (‘least until you’ve done it a few times and know how to duplicate it reliably).

The link is being sent out on launch day…. i can only get the list of leads sent once.. those guys are swamped.
I am able to get my new website indexed by Google like..in a week, by putting the new website URL at the bottom of a website with high traffic. (Not sure is it because of this)
However, indexed doesn’t mean anything but you are ranked well too with the keywords. That’s really impressive. 150+ visitors within 5 days, it’s a very good start indeed.
