Expected to see some fancy businesscards with your logo/mascot or something… I was a little disappointed to see those businesscards.

But, one thing is for sure - businesscards are important to have!!

MillionEuroMan: When it’s “free”, you have less options. When I ordered mine, I used the same feature that people would get for free to make it a real test.

I’m sure John did the same here.

Correct me if I am wrong but what would you need to order business cards for if you are selling your blog (or did I miss the whole linkbait era of that).

Steven: If a pizzeria is for sell, don’t you think it would still make and sell pizzas until a new owner could be found?

Business cards can be quite handy. Especially when put in the right locations. Take a new hyped up restaurant or store opening up for instance. Be there the day they open, and ask if you can leave some of your business cards there for people to grab. Culvers opened up in my town, and the first day he had a few plastic business card holders set at the registers, and where you get your straws. He had left probably about 200 cards. I would imagine he came back later and refilled the cards when needed. This is a great way to get the word out. People like supporting someone from their home town. He probably doubled his audience just by word of mouth, saving him some extra business cards

Business cards are a sign that you are a true internet pimp. When some ask ” what do you do?’ Its Boooooom out comes the business card bling. And it screams I am a internet pimp. I make more money in a month than you do in a year.

Abdalla: With the price of shipping(oil), I think the “free shipping party” is long gone. With my cards offer, it’s a bit higher $6-7 but I get 250 “free” cards and have an office in the UK. ;)

When I sold computer equipment in 1999-2000, one of my supplier was giving me free shipping even on a $1 order. When the price of oil started to rise, the minimum shipping was $5 per order even for a CRT monitor. Now, I don’t know because I don’t sell anymore. The price per liter was $0.55 but today it’s $1.30. :(

Doesn’t VistaPrint give you 250 for the same price?

I do like ooprint’s simplified look though. However it says “100 starting at $19.99″. That’s not really free.

I got my business cards from VistaPrint in preparation of the relaunching of my web hosting business. It seems that OOPrint will be another option for me to look into after my current cards run out.
