The Sumo Lounge and a Video That May Make You Stupid

Remember a few days ago the guest post about “Indirect Marketing” well here is another example of how it can be done.

About 3 weeks ago I recieved this cool “Urban Lounge” called the Sumo Sac Omni from http://sumolounge.com/. It came in a big ole’ box and is a bean bag chair… but I hate to call it that because it really is much more than just a bean bag chair (I think so anyway).

I had everyone here in the Johncow office try it out and it was a hit. In fact some people that spell thier name J.A.N.E.Y, would not get off the darn thing!!!

It is comfortable and can be used in a bunch of different positions and even the COW herself loved it! You can check her out in the below photos.

The cool thing is how this also ties into the post from a few days ago. Now this is not the exact same as buying my kids a gift (which would go a long way for someone… hint hint) but it was still very cool to recieve something of value as a gift. This is a huge win/win for both parties involved because these sumo lounges are very affordable and cost less (with shipping included) then the cost of a review… but because this was something cool, something we like and something we could have fun with, not only did I post about it, but I even made a video!

I am sure there is a lesson in here for someone :)

Do yourself a favor “PLEASE” and check the Sumo Lounge at http://sumolounge.com/

Ok, now about the below video… please first read the following warning before playing.

OK, so now I would like to know…

1. Did you learn a lesson from this?

2. Did you like out first infomercial ;) ?

Great video…I should probably be doing them. Need to get a video camera first. The chair looks comfy.

Love the cow. Does it speak? Maybe a “mooo” here and there?

Jason, you have a great sense of humour. Unfortunately choosing a black background for a black Sumo hasn’t been a good choise.

ciao

My feeling exactly. You should have chosen a little brighter back ground due to the fact , your advertising a dark(black ) item. It just doesn’t show up that much.

Enter scene to watch a video: finding cow character to become more and more of a cartoon come to live action. Not thinkin’ whoever dons that costume is ever going to reveal their true identity now :?:

Exit scene, laughing in a way that is disturbing to another in the room who did not watch the video….they haven’t discovered the super powers of the Cow…

pretty funny stuff

What type of camera did you use to film that?

Have you thought about getting a flip cam? Mike Stewart always talks about them and I really want to get one, but am unsure if I need to.

What are your thoughts?

I do hear lots of good things about the flip though

That video was funny. I’ve sat and layed on one similar to those and I have to say those things are very comfortable. Ride that bag cow!
