I find it easier to set weekly goals which will accomplish an established monthly goal. Keeping them realistic and achievable also helps as long as your goals are actually moving you forward to an end. Love the blog

My goal is to rule the world - and to get the neighbor's dog to stop crapping in my yard.

Seriously- goal setting is easy for me. What is difficult is taking the time to outline the steps to get there.

Thanks for the simple and powerful reminder that life is more than just money - it's about living! And we can make choices, to choose goals that take us how to live better.

Keep up the great work!

Very cool post, John.

What most people do is they set unrealistic
goals first, instead of making their success
a proper habit by taking one step at a time, they
try to take giants leaps.

in anything that we do, determining one's goal is very essential and the first thing to be accomplished before proceeding to anything else. goals set parameters, directions, limitations, ways and means of implementation and strategies for coping. also, with your goal in mind, it helps you measure your level of success.

I've been guilty of this myself in the past. However, due to being an experienced runner and running in a lot of 10k runs, I did set goals to beat a previous time. Every time I achieved my goal, I was always on such a high, it was like winning the race and was always encouraged to improve in this sport. Now I try to implement the same into my business.
