This is why we modify the content and the titles a bit to make it so more then one article will show up in google. As for hurting your site.. linking to your site with articles that are the same will not hurt it... that is not how the duplicate content issue works. What i recommend you do is submit to a bunch and then watch which ones give you results and then focus on only those.
