SEO By the Hour – Sponsor Review
| Share |
There are two ways to get your site seen in search engines. Either pay for PPC advertising (Google Adwords) or improve your SEO so that you have a better natural ranking. A lot of people go with the PPC way because they find the SEO part too daunting.
But what about paying someone to help you with your SEO?
If you think it would be too expensive, think about it this way: although you have to pay for SEO help, it will improve your search ranking. And, unlike PPC advertising, that SEO ranking doesn’t go away once you finish paying.
So then amortize that SEO cost over the next year and compare it to what you’re spending on PPC over the same time period. Seem more affordable now? I thought so.
The next thing you have to do is find someone reputable to help you with your SEO. And, of course, I have something for you. James Harrison at http://seobythehour.com is exactly what he purports to be – an SEO specialist that you can hire by the hour. Charges vary depending on the number of hours that your purchase.
So why this guy rather than someone else? Well, he managed to make his own site the #1 search result for “freelance SEO specialist”. The proof is in the pudding; you wouldn’t want someone to work on your SEO who couldn’t do it for himself.
Also, all the services he provides are 100% organic and can be backed by Google’s Webmaster Guidelines and MSN’s Search Engine Optimization’s Best Practices. He prides himself on never having gotten a site banned and he only practices natural SEO techniques proven to obtain organic search results.
Here’s a sample of the services that SEO By the Hour offers:
- Keyword and Competition Research
- Content Writing and Keyword Placement
- Meta Data – Title, Keywords and Descriptions
- SEO Web Design – Website Architecture, Sitemaps and Internal Linking
- Website Indexing and Submissions
- Technical SEO: Rewriting and URL Canonicalization
- HTML and CSS Validation
- Link Building and Popularity
- Article Writing and Submissions
- Social Media Optimization
- Brand and Business Reputation
- Directory Submissions
- Local Search Engine Optimization
- Blog Optimization and Blogging
- Pay-Per-Click Management
- Lead Generation and Mailing List Development
So unless you’re dong all of those things already, there are improvements that you could be making in your SEO. And if you need help doing it (which you most likely do) go to http://seobythehour.com to find out more about what James can do for your website and its organic ranking.

Hey,
Your contact form isn’t working so I need to contact you via this comment box (sorry).
I am interested to know how to run your affiliate program. How do you combine your affiliate program with your list so you don’t rely on cookies to pay out commissions?
I want to do the same with a product I am going to release but I don’t know how to do it. Can you please help me.
I will check out the website, I am looking for some new content to be done for me in the next month or so, and maybe some of the other services offered would benefit my new project as well.
thanks for the lead.

I like the concept of pay-as-you go. I definitely need help with lead generation and mailing list development so thanks for the recommendation.
Good stuff, gotta love the seo goodies man.
Just a FWIW bit here, the term “freelance SEO specialist” only has 1200 results, hardly a highly competitive keyphrase
I’m off to see if I can get my page to rank #1 for “purple wuzzles and widgets” will report back later
Man, I don’t know what other are thinking, what I think is… EXPENSIVE.
Who is going to spend $45-$125/h for a SEO service? Most of the online-money-making here make that much /month.
Will wait to see some real testimonials.
I agree that hiring a professional SEO service can do wonders for your business, though there are a few things that you can do but there are limitations just like you can’t be a lawyer, a doctor and a software engineer all the same time, everyone has their own respective fields they excel in, you can’t be everything. I am a SEO professional myself and occasionally give out tips to help jump start people on SEO but after a certain amount of time they have the need to hire my services.
Thanks for sharing the link and I will definitely check it out. I have several SEO stuff which needs their expertise. Then, I will also check as to how affordable their services are.
Very well written post however, I would recommend that you turn the No Follow off in your comment section.
Keep up the good work.
I will surely be checking out James Harrison and his web site. I could easily benefit from his advice and services.
Thanks.

Seo is the biggest problem for webmasters.
Thanks for article.
SEO by the hour …. uhmmm, this is interesting … I took months to get an index from google. or maybe mine is too late.:p
I am well too familiar with all these methods. Though i not exhausted all, i am yet to see success with these method. Again i feel that all these method are just too time consuming while the ppc way is expensive. Just my thought.
I stumbled upon Harriso’s site and wow.. I couldn’t agree more with his points. Great find!
Interesting!
I feel like there is a scarcity of good marketing today. Good marketing means which can convert the leads into sales. The only marketing that has moved me in the last couple of years is Social Media Optimization.
I found your blog on google and read a few of your other posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.
Thanks,
Joe
