We here in the JC pasture’s were saddened this week when we learned that the worlds Oldest Blogger, Olive Riley passed away in New South Wales on July 12th of this year.
That’s right everybody, she was the world’s oldest blogger and she passed away at the age of 108. She was born in 1899 and would have turned 109 on October 20th.

We firmly believe that the absolute most important part of using social media (Web 2) sites is the content you submit. Without good content you will not get your articles ranking in the search engines and even if you do get the rankings you will not get any conversions.

Yesterday we posted about content with purpose and it brought up a question about “Duplicate Content” and we figured that we better address this before we get into talking about actually posting content on different social media sites. Do you use article marketing at all?
What we mean is do you submit content to places like ezinearticles.com?
About 4 years ago, this strategy of using what are called “article directories” became extremely popular. What was so appealing about it was the search engines seemed to absolutely love these directories and since you could put a “resource box” at the end of the article, you were able to promote your website on these popular sites.
