Our Good Deeds For Today

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget what we promised yesterday –someone has won our contest and gets a free copy of the PS3 hit video game; “Resistance - Fall of man”. (See Darin? It’s not that hard!) Poking at our 24 inch imac screen while blindfolded, we landed our hooves on Mr Rhys, who doesn’t even seem to like the PS3. Ah well, he’ll probably give it away in a contest too. Congratulations, please get back to us via email and let us know your current address so we can ship it over.

It seems we’re going to have to pick another random JohnCow dot Com reader because we’ve said we’d give someone that mailed us a screen shot of their desktop, using the famoos JohnCow dot Com wallpaper, one whole month of free advertising with us! What were we thinking! Bloody Sangría! We didn’t get too many entries in that and it seems adtracker is once again a winner. (She’s won a Wii and $50 game voucher a little while back with us!) Same story for you Adtracker, please get back to us via email, providing a 300×250 banner we can put up for you at no charge!

So that’s pretty much it. We’ve done our good deeds for today by making a couple of you folks happy again. Just need a filler to add to this post — a pretty cool world clock we came across just now. Perhaps the shocking numbers will invoke a few of you to do some good deeds too — leave the car at home and take the bike to work for example! And eat more chicken.

(PS Seems Mr Browie is having an easy peasy contest where you can win a nifty new iPod Nano!)

First of all, can I just say “Woooooooo!”, thanks, didn’t even know I entered! :)

I’m sure I can find a way to flog it or something ;)

Secondly, A.T. came third in my contest. The contest was to guess the amount of cash in the coin jar. Bless her, she got confused by pounds in weight and pounds in currency, so she guessed the weight of it in pounds, which was rather close to the amount in pounds.

What are the lottery numbers next week A.T.? ;)

I’ve wanted to use the John Cow wallpaper too. But in the end, a family photo takes precedence over Cow.

In any case, would have love to win the PS3 game, then I’ll have something to run another contest on my site. oh well… until next time….

The clock looks so funny with all the stats. I have seen so many forests gone but not even a tick on the forest replanted.

This earth clock does not provide exact information, it’s just estimations.
