Many give recipes that consist of all canned products thrown together or give you recipes they haven't even tried. I must admit though that the food pictures are something I will have to work on a bit harder or get a professional to take them. If you want to try and compete and make money against all the competition, you need to have quality content. You need to make sure you're providing people a reason to come back. I definitely recommend watching the analyics closely as well so you can see what content is popular and how people are finding your blog so you can replicate your success.
