John Cow In Bovine Business Magazine

Bovine Business Magazine has finally put their udderly great article about bovine blogging online. The magazine is on haystacks now but if you don’t live in Bovinia, you may not be able to buy it. Here’s a clip:

At first moo, the image on his website of two duelling Holstein cows and the slogan ‘the miscellaneous ramblings of dot com mooguls’, may appear to be the markings of a pretentious calf, but it doesn’t take long to see why John Cow feels confident in calling himself a moogul. John Cow openly talks about how much money he’s milked from his blog and how he has attracted the dairies that buy his milk. You’ll also read about what grass he ate today and which stomach it went into.

The article is currently the most mooed about story for the magazine. The July issue had a really good article about Bovinian cows buying cheese from the US and importing it into Bovinia in order to save mooney. John Cow should have read that before he purchased his steak in the Chikita Cheese Company.

  1. that there are many advertisers and bloggers who would love to have their URL plastered all over a site with a large amount of visible background space and I guarantee that there would be a huge price asked for this. Imagine how much this would cost: [IMG johncowvscq1.jpg] I wonder if http://www.buymybackground.com is taken? [IMG ] Rich people subscribe to Cash Quests

  2. s blog, a parody to the famous John Chow’s Make Money Online blog. The jokes were brilliant, the posts were amusing, it could get me visiting there everyday. Oh, my. My favorite post was the one titled “John Cow In Bovine Business Magazine“, a parody to John Chow’s “John Chow In BC Business Magazine“. And the cow’s head on the original John Chow’s body picture.. it’s official, that’s my favorite of all! [IMG :D ] Current Mood:

  3. m sure a nice Technorati ranking will soon follow. This brings up an interesting question though, when is too far going too far? I’m somewhat on the fence about the whole thing since it’s a blatant copy of John Chow’s site (evena recent post) played off as a parody as a tribute to Chow himself. Who, as it stands, seems not to care based on this comment in a recent post. Personally, I wouldn’t do this one but a certain cow site, who is trying to be more evil than me, did.

Indeed! Maybe you should have some of the cows in calendars — wait, that would be too much like Chick-Fil-A. But hey! they are one of your ‘sponsors!’ :D

It’s kinda funny. But offensive at the same time. I dunno if you were making a parody of my site, the pic might upset me a little.

But then Chow might find it amusing. Oh well! Good stuff anymoo.
