Is The Digg Over Yet?

Sorry for the late night post again fans, but we’ve been busy trying to keep our server up and running for the last 5 hours because something of ours got dugg hard and we’ve been running around the server farm like mad cows. Currently we’re at 1250 diggs and counting! Thankfully we just moved to the 2nd page after 4 full hours of digg frontpage exposure.
Besides Digg, we were also handling some Del.icio.us traffic and we can only guess how many hits we got in total. We don’t mind, really, but it’s getting late and we want to go to bed! We’ll keep you updated tomorrow.
For those of you that are curious what got dugg, here’s what made a lot of people chuckle.

Congrats! For any blogger this could be the best thing happen to them. Few Digg front page will give a blog exposure to many. Let us know if you had some sustained effect from this traffic.

I was watching that one as it moved up. It made it to the #1 spot on the front page in 14 minutes.

This blog’s growth is amazing, and the whole digg thing is insane too. I’m impressed.
Lucky cow! It seems like it’s mostly big blogs that get dugged like crazy. I’ve been trying to get more than 10 diggs on my posts for a while now, but I notice that I get more visitors from other social bookmarking sites.

Personally I am focusing on increasing my RSS reader count to about a hundred then I might work on more traffic, perhaps like experiencing a digg rush. But so far im happy with the thousand or so daily visits I receive
