How to Build Email List of Subscribers FAST!

No matter what kind of Internet business you are in – blogging, affiliate marketing, SEO, or just providing a service for customers, you have to build an email list of subscribers along the way! Just look at the entire circle of successful Internet Business Owners, they are making huge money because of that list.
Now, I bet you have heard of “money is in the list”, but not many explain how to actually build email list, so you can make the money from it! Oh, and it is not about bombarding your visitors with offers…It is actually totally opposite from it!
Simply put you have to get visitors to sign up for your free offer – otherwise all your traffic efforts or content efforts are NOT going to be as effective! Why? Well, first time visitor is just that, first time visitor (let me say it – ONE time visitor). The repeat visitor knows you, trusts you, and will listen to your advice. Of course, if you do a good job with building a relationship 
So how do you really build that relationship?

It sounds so simple, yet so many people are not doing this! Or, they are trying to do it, and are not doing it the right way!
Let me give you an example. Let’s assume that your blog is about weight loss, your “capture lead offer” is “Lose 10 Pounds in 2 Weeks”. BUT if you do not give them a plan to actually lose those 10 pounds in 2 weeks, you have not built trust or relationship… You have actually lost all the good faith you had with that visitor, and that visitor will unsubscribe and you have just wasted all your efforts!
Not to repeat myself here, but you have to “Give Them a Guide That Solves Their Problem for FREE”! And you will establish trust and relationship that can really make you a lot of money!
Help those people! Helping them should be your primary focus – and the money will come in, trust me!

Problem with it right now is that because of spam, most people just go and download your freebie and then immediately unsubscribe. Maybe unless the guy running the list is a very famous and reputable guy..
Hey I downloaded the ebook. It’s always cool to get a new perspective on the art of list building. Melvin I read your comment, and my experience has been the opposite. You’re dead right that spam is more prevalent than ever, but my experience is that if someone is a good prospect, and I’ve done my job to instill trust, they will download the book and stay subscribed. I get very few unsubscribes after giving a quality info product away to a qualified visitor.

The trick is to tell them about something else they will be getting for free in the next mail…Keep them waiting…If your upcoming offer is free, they will stay. Also, 7 day courses are better sometimes than just a plain guide!
I have also noticed that this technique works. However, it´s getting harder to get people to subscribe because everyone is offering something for free.You must be unique and have something to offer that cannot be found anywhere else, like writing your own special report for instance.
This is a nice tip to build a list of email subscribers.
It is a truth that you have to provide extremely valuable information to your readers if you have to win their trust. And it is also true that only if you win their trust, you will be able to get a few signups.

Excellent advice that I hope everyone reading takes on board?
I’m subcribed to quite a lot of marketers lists, and it’s surprising just how many still don’t get it! I’m receiving like 8 emails per week of some people, the majority of which they are trying to hard sell in them.
The free offers I do receive are usually adswaps trying to get me onto yet another marketers list. The occasional adswap promo is ok, as long as they give me their own free offers often enough, or just some good quality advice.
The good thing that comes out of being on so many lists, I quickly learn how not to do email marketing.

I agree with the post… and its good that there are offers online for unlimited auto responders that do not penalise you for being successful and building a massive list.
Your List Cost is static and your profit margin grows…

Having an email list is the best thing you can do for your business, the amount of leverage you can get is incredible!
I’ve noticed most list owners don’t know how to provide quality to their list or lack the time and effort needed to provide quality to their list!
Provide simple actionable content – that solves a problem – that’s what it really takes to be success with your list and your business in general!
