It seems we’ve neglected our ‘Fine Dining’ category and so we figured it was time to do a quick post. John Chow style! first of all we would like to ask you if there are any young calves watching this. What you are about to see might upset them and parental guidance is advised.
We went to one of the most famous restaurants in the world and managed to grab a dogie bag to take back to the barn. For your pleasure we’ve managed to take a couple of snapshots. MMMMMMM!

Chicken Nuggets with Sweet and Sour Sauce

nuggets.jpg

We’ve been preaching to anyone that wants to listen that they should eat more chicken. We love it and this is certainly something we recommend as a starter! Just make sure you’ve got plenty of napkins.

Machine cut French Fries

chips.jpg

No meal is complete with these exclusively imported fries from France! We love them with loads of salt!

The full meal

meal.jpg

Here’s the full meal in all it’s glory! The fresh lettuce , the onions, the del.icio.us cheddar cheese! boy, what a treat!

meal2.jpg

And here’s the meal without the coke because we were very thirsty.

We don’t know the owner of Macdonald’s and whenever we dine there, they never prepare a free sample dish for us to try. Since we ordered the same meal again, they charged us the same as usual. The dish was very sweet and chewy.

The prices at Macdonalds’s are extremely pricey. Our lunch came to just $15 without tips and we had tons of left over plastic cups and carton board that we had to throw away after we took it home in a dogie bag. Great food and shit prices have helped propelled Macdonald’s into the minds of millions. If the place wasn’t so jam packed all the time, we’d eat there every day.

I haven’t eaten McDonald’s in ages. Ok, well last week, my mom got me a chicken wrap and iced tea, but before that, at least a year. After seeing ‘Super Size Me,’ I decided to follow his advice.

Well, they say you are what you eat, so Lori might be on the right track there!

But I’m not gonna lie, I do like my Chick-Fil-A. I promise I do not have an obsession with that place! :) I do believe that chicken is a leaner, healthier meat so there are positives to both.

I still think that he can get sponsored by Chick-Fil-A, they’re the only trendy chain with mascots that match the theme. It would be perfect!

Giveaways could include calendars, gift cards, and a signed copy of Truett Cathy’s autobiography!

Those imported potato things look quite tasty. (That cracked me up!)

If you had been at the MacD’s in Hawaii, you could have had a taro pie as a desert.

By the way why are you hanging out here when you could be making big money in Hawaii? In my Hawaii vacation news roundup today, I blogged that the cost of a gallon of milk is up to $8.99.

I used to crave the same thing. It filled me up and didn’t cost a lot. But for some reason, the cheese started to bother me, so then I preferred hamburgers instead. Then I still had a sick feeling after I ate one, so I cut out that meat and went with the Quarter Pounder. That was better, but I think my body in general was rejecting the processed food. I haven’t had a burger from McDonald’s literally in years.

Documentaries are very informative, and just wanting to eat healthier and live a more full life without the associated health problems was my biggest motivation. I also use organic products and drink organic milk (even before Mr. Cow established this site). Seems as if the world is shifting to be more health conscious these days.

You’re are right, and I was shocked when I looked up the information. Is a phenomenon that started occurring in recent years. Long time ago the cows were never bred this way.

This is what I found (WARNING: some headlines on this page are truly disturbing):

I know someone that worked at McDonald’s and claims this is true. Might be fun to research.

Earthworms are just protein.

Comment by cooliojones
2007-07-28 23:14:23

Ok when you start to make claims like this, it’s good to have some kind of concrete evidence. Hearsay from a third party doesn’t quite qualify.

Have you done any research on this at all? Sounds like it may be an urban legend or something along those lines.

Nah…don’t want to take the time.

Anyway, I quit eating at Micky D’s years ago. I just do not like the texture of the meat.

Once in awhile I will eat the chicken or fish, but I saw once how they grow chickens in a box and that freaked me out.

Stuff that who can handle, cows or humans? Or earthworms? I don’t understand what you are trying to say.

Sometimes I want to time-warp into the future already. But I almost wonder if this would bring in visitors, now that I’m thinking about it. You could get other bloggers to write about it in a post, and link back to here. Think positive, more publicity, albeit in a very weird, sadistic kinda way. :)
