, which is considered a spoof of the John Chow blog also had a neat tactic recently. One day he blogged about making sure you back up your blog entries, a very important thing for us all to remember. About a day later, the blog post read “H4acked”, indicating Turkish Data Processing Military had taken the Cow blog over. The tactic was to show people just what might happen should you not have your blog backed up. Bloggers blogged about the “security breach

Great way to attract attention. Now that reminds me… gotta go backup my database.
Uh oh. Is it really hacked
haha ha. this is a silly ploy at link bait and possibly a promotion of some sort. lol.
haha very funny
I like the way they included your RSS signup to the post
It was a nice trick cow, but i guess if they were to own you, then everything would have been deleted.
Thanks for the tip. I better go and do a back up right now !
O_O!? Nani ??
If that was a real hack it would read something like:
hAkk3d! u suxx0r!
Really funny if it is promotion but If it is hacked then really serious matter
Nice, to see that they let your ads stay eh?

That was a good move. I though your blog had been actually hacked. And this is a wise advice, I will back up my blogs tomorrow !!.
I will never visit this site again! period
I will!
I actually got at the start but then realized that it was MR Cow’s joke and a small attemt to bring some extra attention and links. Good move.
If it was really hacked, he would probably had announced it untill now.
