Google is one of the biggest and wealthiest internet companies in the world. Millions of people use the services Google offers on a daily base. In fact, chances are that if Johncow.com isn’t set as your default homepage, Google.com is. Quite understandable since we don’t have a cute multi-colored logo but just a couple of stupid looking blue cows, we’re not mad at you. So anyway, Google is filthy rich and you’d like a piece of the pie.

Pagerank is something you have all heard of and perhaps even know what it means for you. The better the pagerank, the higher your position in the Search Engine Result Pages (SERP), the more people will find you. If you’re running an online business, it’s crucial customers can find you and spend their money on you and not on your competition. So you’re not selling anything and have no need for masses of organic traffic? No problem, that’s not what I ment when I said you wanted a piece of Google pie.

You’ve been blogging for a while now and all your pages are indexed by Google. Some of your best articles got linked by the big boys with high pagerank and this has rubbed off. When Google came around, which it does roughly every three months, it saw that you had friends in high places so it gave you a higher pagerank too, assuming your must be important considering you’re hanging out with those big boys. That’s great news! Let’s look at how to make money from your new pagerank!

Because the guys I was talking about, those who sell products online, need people to find them through SERPs, they are willing to pay you to have them share a little of your high pagerank. They will pay you for a simple thing as a text-link on the page with the high pageranking. I have made $400 just last night by doing exactly that and wish I had thought of it sooner!

Don’t worry if your main URL has a low pagerank. Google gives every single page a different ranking! that’s right, you could be sitting on some potential cash without even knowing about it. There’s plenty of tools out there that will check your inner pages pagerank. Once you have listed all pages, head over to sitepoint for example to put up an ad and sell your links! If we look at Google’s past beheviour, I’d say we can be expecting a pagerank update soon. Prepare yourself and don’t miss out on this great moooney making opportunity :)
