  1. Make sure your keyword phrases are in the title. People want to see the keyword phrase in the title. Make the title compelling, use a call to action. In the description, tell them why they should come. More Information:Click here!

As well as great information, I immediately went to check how my site is showing up in the three major search engines. Thanks for the tip.

Oh man! Another great episode. Do you do scripting or do you just wing it? At any rate, Audrey does an awesome job hosting. She and Dina should have a host-off! I hope you find Cow!

I’m pretty good at sticking to the rules with any niche sites I do, but my title/desc sucks for SuiteJ. I think my decription is something about drinking coffee and listening to music. It actually is what I’m doing 24/7, but not the reason i want people to click. lol

Your tips are great, but I might have to stop coming here. I’m contsantly reminded of changes I need to make on the SuiteJ blog.

    Cheers COW!

  12. judge says:

Hi Jason, not sure about the 8 word length title with Google, I prefer to stick with 6 or less as most 8 word titles of mine get truncated. Haven’t done enough research yet with the other tags including description, what do you suggest on length for these?

Google never seems to use my description tags, but uses relevant on page text to the query executed which suits me well…

As for the Cow cownapping, it all looks a bit hillbilly at the moment…

  13. This episode was really good & Thank you for the great tips that you provide.

Great video and the concept on titles is quite clear.

    Thanks a lot.

  17. Mike says:

Great tip. I’ve always focused on title tags but never gave the description much thought. I just thought google pulled that info from the body text.

Thanks again for the great tip.
