Other people Digg your posts, not you, so there is virtually no way Digg can tell if the people who Dugg your story/post were regular internet folk or members of that site. And even if they were to find out who the members were, using a different username should shield you from that too. Getting dugg is not only about getting more traffic, but also about getting exposure. It's hard as hell to market yourself on the internet (or even in real life), so anything that can help that isn't completely crazy is cool to me. But I do think there may be the potential for abuse.
