Since this cashcow blog just started out today, we have a great task ahead of filling up the blog with useful information for all you entrepreneurs in the making. We will be grabbing some of our earlier published content, review, revise and post it here.
Have you got a fantastic post that made you dotcom dollars and you’d like to share it with the world of moooney making bloggers? Let us know and we’ll publish you.

  • Timing

Timing is essential as you have to take into account that your blog has a worldwide audience. To figure out where you will get the most hits from, check your statistics application to determine where your biggest group of readers is located and at what time they tend to log on to your site. Then go and setup the “post-per-email” feature which wordpress provides. Many email clients come with an option where you can have it send an email at preset time.
Obviously there are breaking news articles that should be posted ASAP and I suggest you use a BlackBerry or an iPhone for example if you feel the urge.

  • Content

Lets face it, content is king and the only reason people actually visit your blog. So it’s your job to make sure that you have plenty of fresh content.
If you are looking to provide information for a specific kind of reader, you will most likely only get that specific type of reader.
Try mixing your content with some more popular videos and topics so you will reach out for a bigger group of people. Chances are some of them will stick around and will get interested in what you have to say about your favorite topic.

  • Exposure

Exposure is a thing I can’t stress enough. No matter how wonderful, witty or brilliant your article is, it will only become valuable if someone reads it.
Notify the right sites so they can spread the word for you.
Just to name a few: Digg.comdel.icio.usreddit.comCorank.comNetscape.com
Another way is to make sure your update will get picked up by blog directories like Technorati by having your wordpress automagically ping these sites for you.

  • Networking

You are not the only blogger in the blogosphere. In fact you represent about 0,00000000001% of the population these days and you should know your neighbors. They might have been around a bit longer and will have a loyal group of readers of whom a few might be interested in the stuff you have to say. Linking to a particular article from another blog will help the both of you since these links are one of the things google page rank and technorati rankings get measured on.
Always make sure you credit the source if you quote some information.
Remember what goes around comes around so try to get some good karma flowing.

  • Be Prepared

What renders a fantastic idea useless? If it’s forgotten.
One of the things you could do is carry a paper notebook with you at all times and jot down any visions for a great article that hit you during the day. Another thing I have started to do is synch my iPod before I leave for work with my favourite RSS feeds via iFeedPod (Windows users can use iGadget)
This gives me the possibility to browse through new articles while I’m on my way to work in the train and adds about 40 minutes of researchtime a day. Again, if you come across a hot item you want to post straight away, I suggest you get a BlackBerry :)

  1. amplify it’s achievements? Using the platform John Chow uses as a tribute to his marketing skills? His first day shows 4 different posts all of which support the manin focus of the blog, making money. Post two starts the content. It details theirphilopsophy on posting, giving five examples. The next post is from Susan and talks about social networks and self promotion. The last post shows a bit more humor, but points out on the most important rules of blogging.

I have a couple of posts I believe would be able to help some folks to make a few bottles of mooney from Adbrite. Email me if you are keen.

Wow, no reply? Totally not cool! He wants someone to donate money for his Blackberry, well this is one way to get people to come over there!
