I totally agree with this although I have done the opposite. I was creating niche sites but realised my real passion was in writing about making money online. So just recently I stopped working on my niche websites (well almost) and started working on my blog. I love writing about this sort of stuff and I think it really makes a difference in the end to both me and my readers. The only thing I can say is you must have to have a plan in place to succeed online and even in any other venture.

Allyn, it is all about automation. there is not enough time in a day to manage growing online assets. for authority-type sites, you have to post every day, even better – few times a day. and for niche sites – you have to have a lot of them to make any significant income. Try to find ways to automate your business. good luck!
