The Big Beef recently starred in Leo Laporte’s showOn the lab with Leo Laporte” and managed to turn a 5 and a half minute interview into 3 full posts, which nearly equals in a full day of posting. That’s some great usage of raw material, milking it to it’s fullest. We are impressed. The rest of the week gets filled up with free giveaways like a USB drink cooler, which doesn’t even work according to the big grazer, a Chinese version of Battlefield 2 which does come with an English installer by the way. All these goodies he got for free on his adventures in Taipei, and it looks he’s got enough crap to give away the next few years.
So what else can you use to keep your readers happy? A thoughtful thank you note to everyone that has used the “buy me a beer” plugin and donated over $50, because we know he really needs it. Then an important message, telling us that he’s broke over 6000 RSS subscribers. Information we needed because we’re stupid and can’t read what the feedburner chicklet on the sidebar says. A post telling us it’s the fourth of July so we don’t have to check the calendar ourselves, and one to remind his fellow Canadians that it’s Canada day. Granted, we all have our lazy days so posting a funny clip is ok. Then having a bunch of guest bloggers doing your work for you is pretty clever too.

The only useful information I was able to digest into moooney making ideas were one, one and a half and two posts in one weeks time. The beauty of it all? A post about how he made over $12,000 last month. This means he’s made roughly $3000 this week, a grand per post. And that’s why we love him.

Oh well, at least Leo loves us too for making money online.

Don’t know how long this will hold your attention, but I like the parody.

Yours of course. Like someone else said, you may get tired of the puns.

I’m having fun just reading it.

Will do. If you are an Asian cow, you could do a whole series on Mongul Moogles, steak “Tartar”, conquering the known world and all that stuff, etc.

Too funny…bet you get some traffic from typos too.

Another Apple user. Sweet! Now if you could only get on Leo’s show…

But then again, you’d have to answer a barrage of the same old questions. And Leo would pretend to not know anything. The story would be, very – uh – mooving.

  6. ahaha this post made me laugh :D no offense to John Chow but this John Cow thing is hilarious, especially those two cows facing each other :)

that is crazy, that you emailed Leo, you think you will get mentioned when john chow goes back on the show, i totally didn’t intend for that to rhyme.

  9. digitalnomad says:

Am I missing something…I cannot find the rhyme? If it’s “Chow” and “Show”, that is a real stretch.

It would either have to be a mispronunciation of “Cho” using a long “O” sound, or the mispronunciation of “Shou” for show. Both sound kind of Chinese.

Or is it “Leo” and “Show”? Is this considered to be Chinglish?

  10. Haha having fun with this blog I see! Lol that email he sent you was humorous.
