Do you have what it takes to be a blogger?

This post is part of the guest blogger experiment.
Not many people can get to the top in this dog-eat-dog world of blogging. (don’t worry, no cow will be sacrificed in this post) You will either stay there amongst the millions of bloggers, swimming with the tiny fishes or give up blogging after a while because no one comes by.
So, how do you break away from the tiny fishes? Well, you got to take risks, lots of them and also all the rotten tomatoes that people throw your way before you get nearer to the sharks.
Let me list a few characteristics that will help one to become a blogger that creates waves:
1) Thick skin that bounce like rubber or cow hide.
2) Cunning and daring, i.e. being able to sniff an opportunity and dare to stick the head out. If you dare to say no when the whole herd say yes, you are a winner eventhough they booed you.
3) Charisma and ego – or at least some perceived ones just to get a step ahead of the pack. Haven’t grow your bull horns yet? Buy a pair of plastic ones.
4) Hardworking and innovative – Keep absorbing everything and read up anything. Graze far and wide and go near where the big bad wolf is.
5) Perseverance and never say die attitude – Google banned you? Sign up again! The grass is dead? Go on diet till they grow again.
6) Genuine passion and warmth – No one is ignored, not even a single unknown noobies. If you treat one noob nicely, 100 of them will come out of the woods and profess their love for you
7) Attitude – No one likes a blog that is just a page of words. They want a person behind it, even if she/he is a total biatch/jerk.
8 ) Half-glass of milk (amount knowledge)- Contrary to what the blog gurus tell you, you do not really have to be an expert in anything as long as you have the passion to share. There are always the Wiki and Google, dudes.
9) Thou shalt have no idols – Do not idolise any A-list bloggers because they live up high on the mountains. The grass there is different. Cater for the masses.
10) Drink milk everyday. When you develop lactose intolerance, you will have blog diarrhea.
**Some intro and self-praise: 5xmom is a blogger with multiple blogs. She writes mostly on her personal site, food blog and Make$ Money$. Her thrill is getting on the first page of Google. Money comes second. Right now, she is on #1 page on Google for ‘make money’. Try to beat that, probloggers! 5xmom rules! Smell her farts. 
She is currently ahead of Jason Calacanis and lost to Perez Hilton in being the Most Obnoxious Blogger on the Bloggers Choice Award votes.
For no apparent reason, Polli says the instigator did this: “Imagine my shock when a couple days ago, he visits my MyBlogLog profile and leaves a couple of threatening and manipulative comments.” It’s an underground world. They’re having a convention. According to 5xmom, “And I don’t give a rat ass if your Ingrish is bester than mind. Bwahahaha, me love I!”[IMG Happyageless] I was going to use the Cat Smack or the Spread Beaver but this one is much sicker.

Nice post. But if I had all the qualities you mentioned here, I wouldn’t have wasted my time here. Instead I would be blogging and making money.
this post also proves that all it takes to be a blogger is to engage your audience. So long as you are entertaining like john cow, traffic is in evitable

Google didn’t ban me, but very limited opps at PPP….these days, so I am on diet and also looking for other greener pastures too.
