Announcing the winners of the…
WIN a Brand New Kindle DX PLUS a Huge Link Building Blast to Your Website of Choice Contest!
I guess I did not make my self clear on some of the instructions or people just did not read them fully… a lot of people did not get the amount of points that they thought because of things like not commenting a post on your facebook wall. That was a two part job, you had to add me as a friend PLUS post on your wall.

Please use the contact us form with the best email to contact you with. Todd you will need to let me know asap which prize you want and Jen I will notify you asap with which prize you get. More instructions will follow once Todd makes up his mind.
Dang I was hoping I would win. Nonetheless, I’d pay good money just to see the steps of promotion you’ll be doing for whomever picks the promo prize…

Hi John, I normally respect everything that you do, but if you saw that a lot of people were missing 1 part of the contest instructions you could have let us know and extended the contest another 12 or 24 hours. I don’t mind promoting you but I feel short changed because I missed the commenting part on Facebook. Why would I tweet about it and not post on Facebook. Obviously I missed that single instruction. Not to mention that on the post you put “optional” next to the Facebook and Twitter instructions. Why would you put optional if that would automatically exclude you from the contest. Just so you understand, I didn’t post a comment on Facebook because I missed it not because it was optional. But over all it was not made clear and I think a lot of people were excluded because of that including myself.
Sorry man, I’m just upset right now. You could have handled this a lot better!

There was no way to make everyone happy here, if i would have extended it then it would have pissed off the people that did it right.
The fairest thing was to stick to the rules and the large majority of people did get all the steps right. Plus I did also state…
“All steps must be completed in full to qualify for points”
To be honest I’m not a big fan of Facebook and I’m not even sure what “Posting to the wall” means? So I guess maybe it wasn’t that clear to me. It took me a minute to figure out how to add you as a friend. Just another reason I keep away from Facebook. I much prefer Twitter.

How can somebody do the FACEBOOK when you don’t have one. And no I wasn’t going to get one just for a contest that I knew I couldn’t win. I don’t trust the security on FACEBOOK that’s why I never got one.
