Darin, WTF!

Even though we promised before that we’d drop it, today we found out that our ‘good friend’ Darin from Darin.cc has coughed up $0.06 USD to purchase the word “search” on our New Internet Dictionary to link back to his blog. Looks like business is going great, now he just owes us $500 more for the PS3 we won off him and never received. We’re seriously having a hard time, trying to figure out why he flew back onto our radar again after all the ranting we did about him.
What pisses us off:
1) He’s still around since he must have be reading our blog to find out about that site.
2) He’s ignoring us on purpose by not replying to emails, IM messages and deleting our comments on his blog (This is all from months ago, we don’t bother with it anymore)
3) He’s a schmuck. Even when someone anonymous was emailing us a little while ago with a real sheriff’s office mug shot of Darin which they found online, we chose not to blog about it and even warned Darin in IM that someone was out to slander him. No response. We’re SO tempted to post that link right now.
He’s did this to several bloggers, but it seems that slowly but surely he’s been delivering on his promises. After the same trouble, he finally gave a blogger his USB stick and he’s given Contest blogger the iPhone he promised after several months and rant posts. Those rant posts have been taken down now, so we’re assuming Darin asked for them to be removed, if he was to fulfill his promises. bah.
So now that we find him trying to profit from our cheap backlink offer, we just got sick of it. The link has been deleted and we’ve refunded him his $0.06 USD.
We just don’t want to do any business with you until you make good on your promises. We simply do not trust you and do not want to be ‘affiliated’ with you or ‘endorse’ you with a link. Clean up your act and stop being a schmuck if you’re serious about this Internet business of yours.

John, I’d love to say that you are just “venting your anger” but a lot of times you are offering information as to the person you are attacking. It’s fine to attack a concept or notion or stealing, but when you start getting into posting slander against another person in a public arena, you start getting problems.
