OK, we are at the start of week 3 and so it is time for the 2nd COWcast and time to open up the Q&A

On the last post with the feeds… Since you recommend the “ping shot”, do we take out all the pings in Settings—-Writing—- I have about 30 and thought this was good.
Or do we use both?

We talk about that in the next post when we go live with the site. The only site we ping is http://ping.feedburner.com and let feedburner do the rest.
I just wanted to ask you about the social bookmarking promotion of it: Do articles ever bring any traffic from a site like Digg if it only has like 4-5 diggs? Does it need to make front page for any real benefit?
Yes because they can appear in thesearch engine results and so you get referral traffic from that.
I like the Cow vs Conn pictures, it’s a nice touch to the competition. How much did they cost you?
