Cow 2.0
Ladies and Gentlemen, cowboys and cowgirls. Welcome to what is possibly the hottest blog re design know to man, Cow 2.0.
Don’t bother reading this post just yet –just have a click around the place a little. Loads of cool things to see, take your time and say hello to our new sponsors.
If you’re done staring, you might want to close your mouth and wipe that saliva of your chin. Don’t worry, we’re still drooling ourselves!
So, you’ve probably noticed that we don’t really look like some other guy’s blog like we used to. He changed his theme a few weeks ago and we we’re left with a choice. Stick to the old theme, get something like him again, or stand on our own four feet. We think that the Cult of Cow has grown considerable at this time so we decided to take the plunge. And we’re glad we did!
Hyder from Weborithm dot Com made us this fantastic professional blog design and we couldn’t have worked with a better guy. The patience and professionalism he’s displayed throughout the design process is quite amazing. We’ve pushed and pulled the guy every time we wanted a little detail changed but after some time we knew that we could give him full creative freedom without a doubt. We absolutely LOVE what he’s done to our barn! The header was done by SOSfactory dot Com
One of the main things we wanted to focus on was to create more opportunity for our sponsors to be seen. Have a look at the sidebar and you’ll see what we’re talking about. Not only do you get a bigger button from us (140 vs 125), you also just have to share the spots with just 5 others. We’ve implemented the ad rotation to give everyone an evenly distributed placing over time. If we may be so bold, some of the advertisers had to hurry in getting us the buttons in a 140×140 size, so they’re not very attractive. Hyder is available to create buttons for you guys, he also made the ones for DealDotCom which are now used around the Net!
Now, what we really like to hear is your opinion and your suggestions. If you run into a bug anywhere, please let us know. Although we went over the code for hours, there’s always one that manages to slip in. Hyder did an outstanding job and we think Mr Nate Whitehill has some serious competition right now. You want a sweet theme like ours? Tough luck. Weborithm makes sure all their clients get a one of a kind custom theme!
Now everybody wave and say goodbye to our two lovely cows. They’ve been standing around long enough. buhbaaaaai!
