Closing the Barn Doors To Full Page Ads Plus a Joke

These here pastures are changing a wee bit as a result of focus and direction. One of the changes that I am implementing right away is the elimination of Full Page Ads or “Review Me Posts”.

What this comes down to is I want to focus on writing things that offer value, not advertisements and it is too hard to balance that when some one pays you cash to review their site. The fact is I do not have the time to write everyday as it is and it is not really fair to you the reader if you are not getting what you signed up here for.

Now since this is such a short post, here is a joke to hopefully put a little smile on your face:

A blonde, wanting to earn some money, decided to hire herself out as a handyman-type and started canvassing a wealthy neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do.

“Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?”

The blonde said, “How about 50 dollars?” The man agreed and told her that the paint and ladders that she might need were in the garage. The man’s wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and said to her husband, “Does she realize that the porch goes all the way around the house?”

The man replied, “She should. She was standing on the porch.”

A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.

“You’re finished already?” he asked. “Yes,” the blonde answered, “and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats. “Impressed, the man reached in his pocket for the $50. “And by the way,” the blonde added, “that’s not a Porch, it’s a Ferrari.”

Have a great weekend :)

You’ll probably enjoy the freedom of being able to write about whatever now, and who knows, you might still generate the income you want. Good luck with it all.

I agree with just about everything in this post and am struggling to write something everyday. There are other ops out there so I’ve cut my posts down considerably also

    Good joke!

    Here’s another:

On the first day of training for parachute jumping, a blonde listened intently to the instructor. He told them to start preparing for landing when they are at 300 feet.

The blonde asked, “How am I supposed to know when I’m at 300 feet?”

“That’s a good question. When you get to 300 feet, you can recognize the faces of people on the ground.”

After pondering his answer, she asked, “What happens if there’s no one there I know?”

  11. Funny joke – will have to add that to my collection of blonde jokes. Thanks for sharing

Similarly, we may not know how a paragraph is organized or how a story is put together until we teach writ- ing to students who do not know how to organize their thoughts. ,

  13. Thats why people says never mess with a blonde when its a matter of brain.

  14. May be she was high standard blonde who knows porch and Ferrari …
