Agloco? Told You So!

John Chow has emailed the Agloco crew after he noticed that their SSL certificate was not renewed anymore. Guess what? Agloco’s development team has replied and it seems they have admitted defeat. Agloco is dead!

Dear John,

We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at agloco1@live.com.

We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user. We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.

AGLOCO Development Team

So why is the site still active and why can people still sign up? A puzzle that MR Chow has probably answered in that very same post - Agloco might still be building a mailinglist! What better way to utilize a top 3,000 Alexa site where you require people to sign up? As doubtful as we were about the whole system, seeing that their first attempt ‘AllAdvantage‘ failed miserably too, we hate to do it now, but; TOLD YOU SO!

What makes us even more biased is the fact that the site still seems to be operational, as if nothing ever happened. Is this just one big email address harvesting operation? We bet the list Agloco has managed to generate hold millions of valid email addresses and this is worth gold in the right hands! Its times like these where we miss Kumiko’s anti-Agloco posts…sigh.

If you’re all a bit disappointed in Agloco’s performance, we’ve come to find that DealDotCom, we’re sure you guys remember them, have proven to be a steady money maker, and depending on how you embed them on your site, you can make a nice bit of spare change from them. You’ll notice how we use the very end of our comments section with the ‘deal of the day’ image. If you’re looking to get images like that, Jason has made a special page available for that purpose, have a look at their screenshot page.

(PS Today is the last day to enter Neil Duckett’s free digital camera contest, better hurry up if you haven’t signed up yet!)

Forget Agloco, Lets Make Some Real Money!

Posted by John Cow in AGLOCO, Make Moooney Online

We received an invitation today for a huge money making opportunity that hasn’t even gone live yet. This means not many people know about it yet and for those who get in early, the benefits can grow extremely quick. Remember how John Chow got into the Agloco referral program? He’s got over 25,000 people signed up right now because he got in early. The same John Chow gave us this lead and we all know the man knows how to make money online! We’re hopping on this bandwagon before it starts it’s roller coaster ride Tuesday, Sept 18th. Care to join us before the rest of the Internet will saturate this money source? Don’t worry, we’ve got free invites for all our readers!

Permanent Lifetime Two-Tier Commissions!

When you refer others to DealDotCom and they get their free account, they are marked in our system as having been referred by you. Anything that they ever buy from us nets you a 35% commission. Notice the word “ever” in the previous sentence… as in FOREVER. It doesn’t matter if they buy something tomorrow, next week, or fifty years from now - you’re going to get paid. What’s more, anyone that they refer to DealDotCom goes on your second tier. Anything people on your second tier buy nets you a 15% commission. Again, FOREVER.

The beauty of this is that it doesn’t cost you a thing to sign up and the benefits you will reap as an early starter will remain with you for life. The money making possibilities are endless at this point! Don’t sell yourself short and get signed up now, before someone else takes your place in the picking order. Let’s see if we can beat the Big Beef’s Agloco referral network shall we? DealDotCom here we come!

Ali from Everybodygoto dot Com (same guy who’s giving away free geeky tshirts) has made a few cool banners available for everyone to use on their blog. Stick them anywhere on your blog and start to sign up those people under your name!

0 AGLOCO Sign Ups

Posted by John Cow in AGLOCO

A lot has been said and read about Agloco ever since they started their Agloco viewbar campaign. Some people are really excited about it, others mock it. And both with good reason. A guy like JohnChow, who managed to get over 20,000 people in his Agloco referral network can count on a nice sum of money if Agloco actually starts to pay their members. He won’t care if it doesn’t though, just by being a member he is getting a tremendous amount of traffic from them.

Even if AGLOCO completely tanks and doesn’t pay out a cent, it won’t cost me anything. As a matter of fact, I’ve already made money just by being a member. The AGLOCO website sends me a tremendous amount of traffic. This is because they link to my Viewbar video on the member account page.

I love how he says:”I Can’t Believe How Easy This Is”, which is cowshit since the only reason he got that network so big is because he’s already got heaps of traffic coming from his popular blog. Success breeds success. Nothing easy about becoming successful at first though. I guess it’s just John trying to get even more referrals and I can’t blame him.

Agloco has been set up by the same people that brought you AllAdvantage, which crashed and burned in the dotcom bubble years.
Back then I was a part of the hype and used the AllAdvantage toolbar for months without ever getting a dime. This time round, Agloco can kiss my furry cowbutt because I’m not about to install a piece of software which forces me to watch advertisements while I’m browsing the web. Their payout scheme is too vague for my liking.

What most people seem to think is: You Surf, You Get Paid.
The actual process:

    You Surf.
    You Accumulate Limited Hour Units.
You Convert These Into Agloco Shares.
You wait until Agloco goes public.
You Hope They Will Become Profitable.
    Agloco’s Board Declares Cash Dividend.
    You Might Get Paid.

Three guesses who will become rich from this and who will just waste their time and energy. From Agloco’s website:

“Remember, the company is 100% owned by the Members…”

No, it is not. It is a private company owned by a very few.

I say no to Agloco.

(PS I reserve the right the alter my statement in the future when and if Agloco is turning us surfers into dotcow millionaires)
