BlogRush Results Are In
Just a quick Blogrush update for all of you bloggers that were skeptic if this idea would work. It took them a few days but it seems they have finally managed to get their stats working in your account page. We’ll show you a couple of interesting screen shots that should prove that we’re getting free traffic! Just for fun, we have no idea how much the standard amount is, so if you guys can post your results here, we can compare who’s got the biggest!
Our BlogRush referrals and credits:

Our BlogRush Referral activity:

Our BlogRush traffic since the past 3 days:

As you can see, we had 172 new visitors via the silly blogrush widget in three days. thats 1720 in a month if it keeps going like it is! Seriously, if you’re not signed up with this free traffic service, nows the time to act! You guys think it might have helped when we tricked John Chow into signing up under us? ![]()

I really need to get a down line, I only have myself
I got 2 visitors in 3 days, doesn’t work that great for me yet
Still 2 new visitors are better than a big fat 0, I just today saw that you can add keywords and url keywords which should target the show up better I hope.
My question would be is what Blogrush is reporting line up with what you see in Google Analytics?
Good to see the stats are now showing. Has anyone figured out how to use the credits? For example if you have two blogs added to BlogRush, and one receives far more traffic, how can you use the credits for the lesser visited blog?
wow. you lucky buggers. you are getting tons of traffic. how did you trick chow into joining under you?
His blog is enough to get those referrals and may be other blogs that he owns
It’s not bad but when you consider how much space has been devoted to BR, I don’t think it’s really worth it. 3 posts and a big part of the sidebar is worth a few hundred dollars…not a few hundred hits.
good point.
We’d rather get new readers than a couple of hundered extra bucks. Those extra readers will eventually be worth a couple of thousand bucks.
btw, whens your new design coming out? are you going to be using my idea of a bull ramming john chows car?
That is really nice that is working with you
let’s see small bloggers without referrals will work
1883 impressions (3 days)
1 click
Great stuff Mr. Cow,
Your figures look really promising, so many credits being saved up.
It is of Vital importance now that our posts have great titles
Yah that’s cool for you, but with 460 people in your network it only turned into 172 hits. For smaller bloggers I think this thing is useless.
haha crap i have 0 referrals xD! 20 impressions
38 credits! im so close from you
I just removed the widget. After a big zero shows up. In my stat, i don’t see any referral from blogrush even though I click my widget to go to other blogs. according to their theory, i should get some visitors
Thats insane all I have is myself in my network and I only got about 100 credits a day.
But how much traffic?
1 click, 5 referrals and a fraction of the credits you have - but hey it’s a start!
Whoa.. good for you..
My blog is new..
hope get some traffic from it..
Well, I got more credits than I expected. So the potential for traffic may be better than I’d hoped.
They need to expand the categories though. Read any blog about blogging and it’ll tell you to be specific with your niche. The categories they have are far to general. If they were to expand the categories enough to make the traffic more targeted, I think it would work a lot better.
Geez, long comment. I should just write a post. Hey J.C., need some guest posts on this? *L*
[...] Cow, the great John Chow parrot and already very popular has some siginificant traffic to report. The Google Tutor also quite prominent, has likewise good results but The Blogbeat, a good looking [...]
For a small blog it looks like this: 316 impressions, 0 clicks
[...] seems to be an instant winner. People like John Chow, the Cow, and Shoemoney are behind it, with all of them set to be receiving thousands of free visitors per [...]
wow nice. I too got some new visitors to my site, around 100 to be exact but it seems to work when you have more pageviews.
I noticed your rss reader jumped to over 400 already!
me too got around 20 new subscribers seems like blogrush is a next gen traffic source, way better then referrals.
but wait for tomorrow your rss reader will be down maybe this not really genuine rss reader..maybe bots..
Hm.. quite impressive.. maybe i’ll try this to my blog
Wow, 172 clicks is pretty impressive actually. Problogger had his content displayed 70,000 times and only 35 clicks. The big problem I see is that they aren’t able to keep up with the rate people are earning credits. My unused credits has been growing a rate much quicker than the display rate. If that continues there’s going to be some major issues. Especially since they’re going around giving out free credits (or so they say).
It’s great if you want spam and porn on your blog, and don’t have regular readers, or I guess if you are a money making blog. I removed that thing within tow hours.
What are tow hours? 7am-7pm? Does that only apply to a parked domain?
There are already at least two exploits for it making the rounds in black hat circles.
[...] as Ben proved, for smaller bloggers with less potential to generate massive amounts of referrals (John Cow has 460 already), the widget is [...]
I got zero click throughs, but then again, I only got 28 page views :-).
“We’d rather get new readers than a couple of hundered extra bucks. Those extra readers will eventually be worth a couple of thousand bucks.”
Nice repartee, JC. Really, a lot of them don’t look farther down the road. It’s like grab it while you can, and to hell with the rest.
This looks like it is going to be pretty big
I’ve got 330 imp. with a big fat Zero clicks. I’m thinking this blogrush thing isn’t as hot as we may think. IDK yet.
This BlogRush system is just another waste of time , just as Entrecard is or SiteHoppin , but they are worth a try , doesn`t cost anyone to place them on their blogs. If this site “JohnCow” gets 172 hits , at 29,413 page loads in one month, lets forget the ones with 100 uniques a day.
