As you know sometimes I’m asked to do reviews on John Cow. And to be honest, some reviews are easier to do than others. This is one of the easy ones.

Blog Profitz is just what the name implies – a way to make profits on a blog.
Why am I a fan?
Because, if you haven’t noticed, I’m a strong supporter of making money through your blog. And BlogProfitz does this by combining blogging and affiliate marketing, which allows you to monetize your blog with affiliate offers (integrated with CommissionJunction, Clickbank, Affiliatebot, Amazon, eBay and more), targeted articles, news and video.
So why haven’t you heard of this before?

It works with a WordPress blog. Any blog that uses WordPress, either new or existing, can use BlogProfitz. And it will work with your existing theme or template, so your blog won’t all of a sudden drastically change in design when you add it.
When you start the Blogprofitz engine, it injects your blogs with ten, hundreds or even thousands of affiliate products (complete with images, descriptions and affiliate links), all targeted to your blogs’ subject matter and niche. This sounds like a great tool to make some work easier. what worries me is the duplicate content if we use their article database. Can this be an issue for Google rankings?
I would recommend that you add your own unique content as well. If you have content on your blog that is the same as other blogs, google does not care so much.. it is when you have no unique content and no new links coming into your site that they care. Also that you do not have the same content multiple times on your same site.
Sounds good, but do you really believe they are capping at 1,000? Sounds like a sales gimmick to me
No I think they will cap it.
I agree that it’s kinda gimmicky. However, if/when they do cap it… there’s another program that I’ve been looking at for a while that’s more established and appears to be a bit more comprehensive (I’m not an affiliate). It’s at http://www.datafeedr.com

Nice, I have seen a lot of reviews go up about this website. We are just starting to do some blogging, and we are trying to figure out rather or not to use a service like this, or if it is just best to buy 100% unique content and go from there.
Would like to get some peoples thoughts on this.

What we could really use is some pros and cons on using BlogProfitz on an existing well-established blog and some example before and after sites so we can see what it looks like.
Their site mentions using free WordPress (hosted with WP). I’m not sure that would not be against the WP TOS. I believe they’ve changed it since I last checked so anyone considering that option should read it first to make sure.
Blogprofitz is nothing but a waste of time and cash.

Although John Cow urges you to join, I urge you to get more information. I subscribed, then discovered that my hosting company doesn’t have the correct versions of scripting to run their system. Instead of just refunding my money, they tried to get me to dump my host (where I already host 40 blogs). They cancelled my subscription but would not refund my initial cost. BUYER BEWARE!
I’m sorry that happened to you – I would definitely recommend checking to make sure that your hosting company has the right scripting to make it compatible before you subscribe – that’s a great tip. BlogProfitz does state on their site, however, that they don’t give refunds. I’m sure the argument could be made that that policy is aimed at people who just decided that it wasn’t for them, as opposed to people who couldn’t make it work because of technology, but that’s their perrogative.
