Because we are extreme environmentalist activists, we’re going to wander of the capitalist path of making money online. We’re going to tell you how you should be living your life from now on. How you need to start recycling and saving energy. Anyone that does not comply with these demands will be banned from our green blog! Resistance is futile, humans!
We we’re actually gonna write about something totally different today, but we noticed that a lot of blogs are participating in the “Blog Action Day” and we figured the cows couldn’t stay behind on this one. Its only the most important issue of this and coming generations, so why not do a little blog post about it? You guys getting sick already of reading these environmental friendly blog posts everywhere yet? Tough luck! Here’s another one for you!
Will it make a difference? Probably not, but at least we can say we tried to do something to help the planet today. But why stop there? Here’s a short list of simple things that we all can do to contribute to a better world. Remember that if its not us that are going to face serious problems with the environment soon, it will be our children and grandchildren that are going to have to live with our mess.
- Do yo really need to take the car to pick up the kids from school or go to the shop around the corner? Sure, it might be raining, but that’s what you’ve got that umbrella for right? Taking a walk or hopping on your push bike will increase your overall health and lessen your spendings.
- No, you don’t need to leave the TV on your favorite music channel so you can hear it in the kitchen while you’re cooking. Try singing for yourself! You might get discovered and become the next star in American Idol!
- Same goes for all the lights in the house. If there’s nobody upstairs, there’s nobody there that needs the lights on there to see what they’re doing. Is the light still on if there’s nobody to actually see if it’s still on? YES! Turn it off.
- Remember all the money you’ve spend on those designer clothes? They can do more than look good on you — they can keep you warm. Put on an extra shirt before you turn up the heater again.
- Eat more chicken, because you don’t really like beef. It’s never to late to become a vegetarian!
Not only will these little things contribute to a better environment, they will also help you save money. Saving money might sound boring to you, but in essence its exactly the same as making money. And that’s one thing we all love to do!

haha, i was waiting to see who would be the first of you two to write about this. i do practice some of the stuff you list, but my wife, thats another story.
That’s why space programs need our support. So we can get of this damn rock. It’s eventually going to vaporize when the sun goes poof. If something else doesn’t annihilate it first. Might as well colonize a few other planets right now while we still can.
pffff I’m only buying my electricity from companies who only deals with wind mils or solar panels, so I have every lamp I can find on, computers on 24/7.
My Energy doesn’t destroy the environment, sorry but if everyone would switch to these friendly energy sources we wouldn’t have to come up with these silly rules…
Krillz, unfortunately not everywhere in the world people have the choice to choose the energy source they would like. The Scandinavian countries probably are further advanced than most other regions.
Gotta love the last rule….lol…I’m getting hungry…maybe I’ll go to JACK IN A BOX?? and get a SALAD…gotcha!

Being new to the bloggin thing, I wanted to participate to this blog action day and I did a post on environment, but because I couldn’t care less about the environment I said it on my blog. I hope next time it will be an interesting topic because if the next is about world hunger or nuclear energy, I will have to speak my true mind again and again and I will never make online friends

Damn in Austrlia we dont have a choice for energy resources but what we do have a choice about is what we use as a bulb and stuff and choices on keeping things on. Lots do the right thing, turn off the tap when shaving, use envornmentally frendly condoms (biodegradable) and bio friendly builds.
