And Even More Contests…

We are a little behind on a few things and we are still in the office, even though it is 6:52pm on a Friday night :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Anyway, we are working on todays “detailed” post of the cowpetition but it is going to be a few hours yet .. actually more like tomorrow morning… and so for all of you that are in the contest frame of mind, we thought we would share a couple other cool contests that are going on in the blogosphere.

#1 - Greatest Domaining Blogging Contest Ever: Over at the Daily Domain Name Blog they have put together 62 genuine prizes for one pretty cool contest… and they are all good prizes!

#2 - Twitter Writing Contest: This one is over tonight we believe so you need to hurry. It is by Brian Clark over at Copyblogger (a really cool guy we recently got to talk to) and he is having a really cool little contest that involves making a twitter post.

#3 - Mac Book Air and Cash: This is brought to you by Mike Huang (who is sadly more a fan of Garry then Cow… can you say bad Mike… bad, bad Mike) over at Bloggin-ads.com.

    The Copyblogger contest was really cool - lots of great entries. I can’t wait to see who they choose as the winner (and I don’t envy the judges!)

    By the way, if anyone is as frustrated as I was trying to read all the entries (clicking back and forth between CB and Twitter), you may want to check this out: I threw together an aggregated list of all the Tweets in one central location using Diigo. 455 of the 475 total entries are up, and I’ll get the few last ones up soon. Brief explanation and links to 2 different views are on my blog Smithereens, here.

    As for Cow v Conn, I am really intrigued to learn more about this contest… I’ll wait for the next email I guess!

    John,

    When this is over, you should try to provide details of traffic/feedburner/bookmark stats on your blog since you began the Cowpetition. Comparing the post-contest traffic to pre-contest traffic would be an invaluable lesson in itself.
