A Review of the Ultimate Firefox Extension For Affiliates
Review of Affiliate Espionage
Keyword research is an essential part of any successful Internet marketing campaign. Whether you’ve got a niche blog or whether you’ve got a product-based website, you need to know what the keyword marketplace looks like before you invest in AdWords.
Yet Google doesn’t, by default, provide you with a whole lot of help. Sure, they give you ideas about what keywords to use, but at the end of the day you have no idea what markets are truly saturated, and which keywords have proven successful for advertisers in the past.
Enter Affiliate Espionage. This software for the Firefox web browser tries to give you the kind of real data you need to know whether a given campaign has been successful.
Now, without access to proprietary Google data or an individual advertiser’s campaign data, no one can know for sure how successful or profitable a campaign is. Affiliate Espionage comes close, however. They’ve devised a formula that looks at exactly how long a given advertiser has hit on a specific keyword. Affiliate Espionage works on the idea that the longer an advertiser uses a keyword, the more likely it is that it’s bee successful for the advertiser.
One of the nice things about this software is the help it gives to new users. Not only is there a 47-page user guide available, there are many different video tutorials, all of which point out the features and functionality of the software.
Affiliate Espionage relies on other tools to help it in its task. Rather than reinvent the wheel, it uses data from WordTracker to suggest keywords, for example. It offers advertiser info from Keyword Spy, and even uses Archive.org to pull up landing pages.
While there are truly a dizzying number of features in this software, you don’t have to be a stats junkie to use it effectively. For example, you can set the software up to highlight any of your keywords that have been successful for advertisers for a period from one to 60 days. Yes, there’s plenty of other data available, but the interface provides for simple uses, too.
If you’re considering an AdWords campaign, consider letting Affiliate Espionage help you pick the right keywords and optimize your chances of success!

Sounds like an interesting tool. I love WordTracker, so anything that could possibly build on top of it sounds good to me.
Thanks for sharing, I will check it out.
Me too brother. I love when the firefox extensions build on top of something else.
That is funny. I put blonde expert. Being a blonde expert might not be that bad though when it comes to women.
that looks like an awesome piece of software for the Firefox browser. I will definitely take a look at this closer.
Thank you for the review.
I know of a simular product that I have used that does one of the functions this software does (monitor active keywords that others are using). But the service I have used has a high recuring fee (I got it free with my membership to My Silent Team).
If you want to do Adwords/PPC, it just makes sense to go in with as much data as possible. It is all too easy to spend a whole lot of money really quick and not make a thing back. Getting clicks is great, but you need to get conversions to be profitable. This tool will enable a marketer to watch a specific keyword. If you see another marketer running the same Keyword for an extended period, you can be fairly sure that they are running a successful campain and if you do the exact same thing with that keyword, you should also end up with a profitable campain.
Thanks so much for making us aware of this great tool!
Cheers!

That similar product has anything to do with bullying others?
‘Coz I got that too. Think of ditching it in favor of this one though.. Doesn’t make any sense to pay monthly with what this one offers. (even if it’s a bit less and wrapped up in a different package)
Cheers,
Alex
The product I was refering to is called Underground Profits. It comes with another product called Click Flipping. The monthly fee is Crazy!
This product seems to do the same thing and is soooooo affordable in comparison.
Cheers,
Jeromy
I’m glad to see there’s something else out there for keyword research. Especially something I can use with Firefox! Thanks for the tip.

What happened to the good ole days of keyword research?
without the keyword research tools, newbies and others could be throwing away their money with ppc, but then again who jumps into this without research and knowledge of it first?
good tool to be made aware of
It seems to be an excellent tool and it’s pretty cheap if you think about the money that you can earn with this.
Seems like a nice extension.
New For Firebox

Understanding the Principles of Permission Marketing
I tried to order the script, and got a weird response. Can you explain what took place here?
Is this a mistake in the order script, or what?
Here is the error code shown by paypal:
Fraud Attempt
Seems like a really cool tool, so I am wondering if anyone else got that response.

This is why Firefox rules the world!
That’s a really nice extension. It does indeed seem very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Thank goodness, seven days into 2009 and no new keyword research tools was starting to have me worried the IM industry were still on their hols!
I seen this advertisement on Mashable the other day and I knew it would be getting some press pretty soon because I think it will change the affiliate marketing game
Thank you very much
thank you
I just heard about this. I will use Affiliate Espionage to my Adwords campaign later. Thanks for sharing.
I tried to order, but for some reason the
purchase was made,. but I never received the download link.
Is there a problem?

I’m just glad I finally switched over to Firefox from IE6 about a month ago. I don’t know why it took me so long, but I love it. The extensions ROCK. I’ll check this one out. Sounds very powerful. Thanks,

Yep, made the plunge yesterday. Giving it a try.
The price is nothing when you think about it. Cheaper than a dot com domain.
And with the 30 day money back guarantee you can’t go wrong. Even if it stinks you just take your money back.
But seriously, it’s been less than a day and I don’t think I’ll ask for my money back!
Cheers,
Alex
Alex, It would be interesting to hear an update from you on your experience with this product.
I think it has the potential to blow the other products like it out of the water without that silly recurring fee.
Cheers,
Jeromy
I’ve run into some problems running it through a proxy. (I need a proxy because I’m targeting the US market from outside the US)
Will submit a ticket and see how to work this out.
Cheers,
Alex

Thanks for this. Sounds like a good tool. I like that this a Firefox plugin. Haven’t installed it yet but sounds like a cross between PPC Bully and PPC Spy (the new Brad Fallon one)
PPC is something that I haven’t really looked into because it looks like a minefield that could swallow up a lot of money very fast. Thanks for the review though.
very nice post thanks…
very Good nice archive thanks.
Yea ok, that’s not the product I’m paying monthly for… But nevertheless, why pay monthly when you can have for a one time fee?
I’m going to post a review on my blog in a week or so, so check it out. (Subscribe to my RSS feed to get it while it’s hot!
