A Christmas Carol

Want to Learn How to Build a Business Not Just a Blog.. for FREE? CLICK HERE Now to Find Out How!

Today we received an email from David Hogg, a mini-entrepreneur at the age of 6 ½ who runs the family business with his little brother Jake, who is 2 ½. These boys are trying to make this Christmas unforgettable for their new cousin Bin, a deaf 10 y/o Chinese boy that is going to be adopted by their auntie Lisa and uncle Mike. Amongst the other celebs they’ve emailed, like Candace Cameron Bure, Karen Kingsbury, Angelina Jolie and the Google Founders, we were addressed directly so now we’re gonna have to cough up some moo-lah. We hope that our $100 will help you little fellows bring home Tiny Tim Bin!

Any reader here that donates $1 or more will get a free linkback from us in a special thank you post later this month. Lets all work together to help Bin make the big move to his new family!

    Hi.

I would love to tell you about our story idea. I am David Hogg, 6 ½ and my
brother is Jake, 2 ½. My mom is helping me type this (so I have permission!)
I started a fundraiser 2 months ago for Bin. Bin is from China. He is 10 and
has been waiting his whole life to be adopted. He is also deaf, but speaks
    through sign language.
My Aunt Lisa and Uncle Mike are adopting Bin. Bin makes #7 for them
(because 3 were already adopted and they had 3 from the tummy). Anyway, Bin’s
adoption fees are around $10,000. That is where Jake and I come in to help. We
have been having fundraiser after fundraiser. It started in my front yard, then
to Target, then to Walmart and Roses. We live in Charlotte, NC area. I raised
$170 all on my own the first day out in my front yard selling brownies. I
wouldn’t come inside – I wanted every last brownie to be gone to help Bin.
Some people gave and didn’t take a brownie (which made me very happy so I
could sell more). Then, we had 4 more fundraisers at bigger places! I sold
    every time!

Then, we started our website – called www.boys4hire.info and we have
collected over $2,500.00! Guess who gave? Karen Kingsbury gave us a huge
donation (by PayPal on our site) a week or so ago. She also left us a quote in
    our guestbook
! Guess who also gave? Remember Candace Cameron from FULL HOUSE?
She gave a huge donation (by PayPal) and left a quote in our guestbook too!
This all has to be newsworthy!

I have written Angelina Jolie, Meg Ryan, Oprah, Bill Gates, the Google
Founders, Bruton Smith, Donald Trump, Steven Chapman, and many more.

I hope you pick up our story – it would be a great one – especially now
with Thanksgiving just passed and Christmas right around the corner! Here is
the best part of all – Aunt Lisa and Uncle Mike know nothing about this!!!
Why would I do this for them? Because they are the most special people on earth
(next to my parents) and they deserve the help even though they would never ask
for it. Your readers would love to hear about them.

Please look at our site and our guestbook and blog for more information and
    pictures. www.boys4hire.info.

    Thank you!

    David Hogg

That’s awesome. As I said in the contact Cow, I would like to pose the first $250 donation to these boys from 50G for Charity advertisers. Let me know what you think.

Well the beginning of the letter sounds promising “Tracy wrote, Hi i am David”, I hope they achieve their goal (whatever that is).

@Learn SEO - I would say David sent it using that e-mail, but mine didn’t start with that, mine said at bottom : Thank you again,

Traci Hogg & David Hogg , and the goal is 10k USD

Their parents should be very proud of them. I just donated a few dollars toward the cause. Hopefully, they’ll meet their goal.

Could this be just a huge plot to make some money or try to scam some people? Who knows, I’m still going to donate $1 to help them out. :)

I also blogged about this cause and plan to donate a portion of earnings from sales this month. I know we should be a little skeptical about things like this these days, but it sucks that some of the comments are indicating this could be a scam and the kids are being used. It looks very genuine to me.

I’ll tell you what I think Christmas is all about is these two boys at their age teaching the world what love is all about and working for a great cause say what you want but they can count on my donation, and I would like to tell their parents the love shows thru their faces and smiles.

It’s always great to see people reaching out to help others, especially during the holidays. I’ll offer up a few bucks to help them meet their target …

I just wanted to let everyone know that I know this family personally. They adopted the foster sister of a little girl I adopted from Guatemala. We have spent a lot of time with them. We are also adopting from China at the same time they are right now. They are wonderful people and absolutely legit! I gave money too of course! This is going to be an amazing surprise!! Thank you for you help. Angel
