There are 14 competitors with that term intitle, inanchor, and inurl. The comercial intent is only 21% though. I’d fight for 80% comercial intent or above terms.
Wow Jason, I never took you for an ego driven dude, personally I don’t think Hamo’s tone was negative. He did start off his comment with “lol” (joking? maybe a tad sarcastic?) – some of us got the humor.
In any event, obviously he sees what I’m sure many of us see… Another thinly disguised attempt by another “guru” to get us to sign up (NOT FREE unless you think our time is worthless) for their buddy’s next launch doo-dad (no-doubt through your aff. link). Not that I have a problem with you making money from providing value to your subscribers and customers – just don’t waste our time.
Case in point… Not too long ago (few months back) this same Brad Callen was pushing his Twiveaway service our way and I believe I heard about it through one of you guys. Since I was prepping for a launch myself, I figured it might be just the thing to drive some additional traffic for my client.
Guess what?… The thing bombed right out of the gate! No worky, no traffic, NO RESPEK Mon! After all the time energy and effort spent setting up my account with his service, NOTHING! No support, no service, no follow-up, no solution… like I said, NOTHING! And you think you’re pissed off?
Maybe the reason people aren’t jumping all over this report, is because they experienced something similar to me with dear ol Brad in the past. Their “guru-meters” are in the brown.
So before you go jumping down people’s throats and inciting responses like this, maybe put yourself in your customer’s/subscriber’s shoes for a second while you moderate your comments. We have opinions and I like to think they matter and even if we’re not “seo gods” who generate top rankings in 18 hours, I think we still deserve a more appropriate response than the one you gave Hamo.
Just so you know, I don’t think I’ll be downloading Brad’s report since my confidence in his ability isn’t exactly as high as yours is. To be honest if he’s really all that good at seo, surely he would have made sure that he was positioned on page 1 for “keyword minute”?
I dunno, maybe I’m missing something? Anyway, chill dude.

I dont see why people would not believe you could rank that quickly. I have seen results in a couple of hours. It does not have to take forever.
What intrigues me the most is how I found this url. Alexa is ranking it as the 8th most popular link on the web at this moment.
I can see where that one poster was coming from as I’ve had several websites that rank near the top if you search for their actual name that is somewhat unique. For instance if you google “your favorite stores” you’ll find my site, http://yourfavoritestores.com ranked as number 2. Basically no SEO has been done here.
I’m not trying to be negative though, there is obviously… something going on here based on the traffic alone. I’m gonna check out the report and see whats up.
See that is not a negative comment… not at all. You stated your reasons and view point but did not simply accuse…. in fact this is a great comment.
Remember though… it is not about what the stats say the keyword is ranking… even though this strategy works for any keyword… but it is also to do with what a keyword is about to get. For example, if a brand new movie was just announced called “Red Dogs Drive Cars With No Roofs”, of course there is 0 competition for that, but does that mean there is no traffic. Opposite, there is going to be huge traffic very fast and you will want to as quickly as possible get top rankings and ride the wave.

However, a quick glance at Brad’s strategies and I was pricked at the Burn marketing stuff to read him say things about putting affiliate link in my resource box at Ezinearticles – those guys don’t allow it.
For the information of those who do not know, a landing page link is what Ezinearticles will accept in a resource box for promoting affiliate programs while your affiliate link goes on the landing page, where you must have done some preselling of the product your are promoting to encourage your visitor to go on to the vendors sales page, where if he buys you earn that commission. Am I write sir?

that’s not entirely true… what i do is create a masked domain with an affiliate link (basically is an iframe) and that works perfectly. Yes you cant direct link with an affilaite link but you can if you mask it… you cant php redirect though.. it must be a masked link.

There are many types of people in the world…but we are either a negative person or a positive person.
The ‘negative’ type is often their own worst enemy, especially when they allow their negative feelings to stop them achieving their goals. The negative type will always look for the bad in things and struggle through life and blame others for their own failings.
Those who think positively and optimistically are far more likely to be successful in both their business and personal lives…they try a few things and if they don’t work…move on and try something else.
What really annoys me is when the negative person doesn’t even bother to give something a go.

Come on don’t teach garbage. Brad Callen is top notch and you shouldn’t spoil his hard work with a BS email that says hey you can rank for a keyword in xxx minutes.
Do it with a keyword that has 10K competitors with quotes on it and I’ll be little more impressed. Very little but at least it will be a keyword that has some competition.
I think your missing the point here Frank so let me explain it.
1. Try the strategy yourself and then come leave a comment.
2. The power of this strategy is you identify terms like “the keyword minute” that are about to get loads of traffic because someone is doing a launch for it… then you take 22 minutes, gets loads of rankigns for it and take advantage of the traffic

I’m not someone who has helped pay your mortgage to any great monetary amount over the years but I’ve been a follower for a long time. There are those “gurus” who give because they know they have been blessed to be so fortunate; and there are those who give for a number of reasons including the one I have just suggested but also to slowly lure in another customer. Unfortunately many are more interested in the later than the former reason. I’m not naive enough to think that there is a single one out there that isn’t wanting to do a little “persuading” but I also know, from years of “observing” and “taking the bait” that there are some who really are genuine in that they are only interested in guiding us poor misguided souls towards mutually beneficial outcomes. (The type of entrepreneur I hope to become).
Forget the negative freaks up there in the other comments, they won’t be around tomorrow and they certainly won’t be part of the successful environment that you inhabit. You are one of the genuine guys who I take the time to open up EVERY email from. (And these days there are not many of them when you get 2/400 per day). Aren’t those Nigerian inheritance and lottery win emails a bitch?? … but many of the deleted ones are from gurus of far more “public exposure” than you. (Notice I didn’t say “fame”).
They are ALL only a legend in their own minds.
Anyhow, not to be negative myself; I genuinely do appreciate all the free stuff you do for us all and you continue to have my 100% support as being “one of the good guys”.

How can some be unimpressed or unconvinced by this figure? See the results of this keyword for yourself by typing it into Google. He’s on position 1: Results 1 – 10 of about 68,400,000 for the keyword minute (top right hand corner of results).
Not impressed by this? Then nothing would please you so why waste your time!

Why it was easy to rank number one for keyword minute is: knowing Internet Marketing basics:
- Not many people are looking for “keyword minute” ( Google Keyword tool : montly searches: Not enough data )
- And the other clue is in the first sentence of this article: “be ahead of everyone else when someone launches a new product.”
No need to be sceptical, it’s a proven strategy once again!
And especially when someone as famous as Jason writes you have to take his word for it.
You may not read the whole book but it’s worth downloading when one of the few TOP bloggers in the world says so.

The multi rankings can last long depending on the competition but are more effective obviously the longer tail you go. The main power comes from getting fast results with dominating during things like product launches. tak the primary keyword of a new product and then long tail then with things like “review, buy, bonus, alternative, get”.

First I would like to say I mean no disrespect and I admit that I have not tried any of your products. I just want to address why you may be getting a low response- or even a little flack for recommending products.
I think a good number of us are burned out by marketers in general that over promise and under deliver.
Before you take me as nube, I want you to know that I’m a 50 year old seasoned entrepreneur. I know the only way to succeed at something is to take massive action, learn from your mistakes, and press on until you get proven systems in place that you can scale.

I’m not trying to brag, I just want you to know that I can take action, drill down, and solve issues that stand in the way of an objective.
Over the past year, I have spent 14 to 16 hours a day doing EXACTLY what a number of very respected “gurus” have told me. I have spent thousands on products, doing PPC, hiring programmers, copywriters, and link builders.
And EVERY time without exception, what I’ve been told to do has not generated more than a trickle of traffic [in the case of ppc, the traffic was too expensive to be profitable]. And EVERY time, the “guru” has responded with excuses like “Google has changed things” “Your market is over saturated” “SEO takes time” and so on.
As the gurus pass our names back and forth, people would not complain or bulk at offers if what was sold in the past worked. You may argue it does work- but does it work for people that don’t have a team of people in place or something like a giant and seasoned blog network?
I think you’ll agree that most of us don’t want products that work for a small collection of well entrenched experts, we want products that do what they are supposed to do: Like let us create information products from scratch, put it in front of a “rabid” market, and make sales.
I think I would speak for many by saying we want ONE guru to step up, put his money where his mouth is, and prove he can do what most of as are looking to do: Drive traffic to a new site WITHOUT huge resources.
If someone wants to come on this blog and walk us through the process step by step- where all can see and track the results- I think that would do more for the reputaion of all you guys than just telling us to buy and it try it.
Heck, if someone wants to PROVE they can deliver use my site as a test. I will donate 100% of the profits to charity and issue a very large and public apology.
However, if I continue to see gurus make money by only selling advice on how to make money on the Internet, I will become what most of us seem to becoming; extremely more skeptical.
Again, no disrespect intended, I just want you to see what I think many of us are seeing.

hhhmmm, well this went to my email address which is only used for SPAM and I never signed up for this but thought I would click to see what exactly this is. I searched Google for the term “The Keyword Minute” and I don’t see anyone bidding on it via adwords. Then I went to Insights and there was no search volume. Not trying to sound like a hater but if this was legit why not go after a keyword phrase that was somewhat competitive or valuable?
If you could share some results that are even the least bit competitive I’d be more interested in looking into this and I think outsiders outside your blog would be too.
Arghhh…. how many times do i have to reply to these comments. This is a brand new product launch and with a keyword that has no history for getting traffic until 3 days ago… but now is getting loads of traffic. That is the point of it.. i used that keyword because it relates the the report that brad is giving away. Making money in internet marketing is not all about using “tools” to tell you what to market to, it is about using intuition… see where the traffic is going to be and getting your face in there as fast as possible.
Test the strategy out… why are you wasting a moment of your time back analyzing it and looking for every “theory” as to why it should not work. Take that energy and actually use the strategy and start making money.
Heres hoping this finally sinks in for you all.

Now I have a e commerce site and wanted to know how I can do this for my type of business. For the first part of the video where you get the code from a blog would I be able to use my own actual website? And can you repeat the same process and promote the same page but use different titles so you can rank for different keywords? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I tried it on one of my keyword phrases. Downloaded the ‘free’ version of the tools and followed the video. At it was the first time – took me approx an hour. But is simple and could easily complete the next one in 30 minutes. Might even outsource it.

Jon, you sould point out this is for a sniper site, and not for your long term site, poor spammy links are fine for sniping , but for a main site their are alot of things you need to be doing as well to cover this sudden flurry of links or you will be dropped from yahoo and google permanently.It is the same as links from sqid and hub and wikispaces , they get counted and deleted, one month later you had 200 links and now you have 10, search engine label you as spammer and send you into outer space never to return.
I use promosoft , and those sites do well in msn , but are nowhere in google and yahoo…be warned!
Perhaps jon, you can send a pdf to all who have downloaded on how to use this properly, and not get banned , cos you know there are always duffleheads who are gonna submit 10 ebooks and screen savers in one week, and they will blame you for teaching them black hat spam!

I just went through the video for a second time and am going to implement the strategy. However, I’m not sure about which version of PAD Express to get. In the video you mentioned that it submits to 1,000 sites, but the sales page mentions only 110. Which version should I get to implement your strategy?
I’ve never done this type of thing before to build links, so I want to be sure I’m taking the right action. I’d love to add something this powerful to my link building arsenal.

Just a quick update. I went ahead and used the free trial version of PAD Express last night (I’m definitely going to upgrade later). I think out of the 275 sites in the trial version roughly 50 or more successfully received my submissions.
This morning I checked my site for my main keyword and it had jumped from #9 to #6 in less than 12 hours. This is a pretty good shot in the arm if you ask me.
I knew PAD submissions were a great way to build one-way links, but I always thought they were too complicated. Plus, I had other strategies that were working pretty well for me (and still do). I must say I’ve been converted, though. The simplicity of the whole process you explain has really put this strategy within my reach. Honestly, I think it took me all of 30 minutes or so to do everything.
I’m a firm believer in working smarter and not harder. Anyone who’s smart will follow the instructions in your video and profit. Those who want to keep working harder will just have to sit back and watch the smarter folks make more money while they work their fingers to the bone.
Anyway, thanks for the great info, Jason. This technique is definitely going to be a part of my link building arsenal.

I hope there are a lot of skeptics reading this because we don’t need the competition.
The part I love the most about the strategy you share? That it kicks ass and very few people will put it into action. (Which just means we can do it all day for multiple keywords and many sites/offers and still not have much competition!)

I’m on Brad’s email list so I had downloaded the report earlier. Yeah, some gurus throw clunkers at you all day, and then there are some who offer great products.
I don’t know if this report will help me, but I DO know that Callen’s SEO Elite and Keyword Elite software has paid HUGE dividends for me.
Can’t recommend those programs high enough. Jason & Brad are buddies, probably for a lot of reasons, but it’s been more than obvious that they both know their sh*t.

I already have a ebook that I would like to promote. I watched your video which from what I understand is to use EbookCompiler to create ebook and then submit it to software directory sites. If I already have a ebook, what should I do?
is it an ebook you want to give away for free? I would recommend you only give a sample of the ebook and then link to a page to get the rest that they have to optin or pay to get the rest.

PPCKahuna customer here. I’ve just watched the vid and it’s something that is completely new to me! But I’ll be giving it a try when I wake up tomorrow (it’s the weekend!). A couple of questions though…
1. I notice you are ranking on page 2 of google for upright bagless vacuums, but I can’t see you any where for upright bagless vacuum cleaners, even though that seemed to be your main key phrase.
Why do you think that is? More competition for that phrase, or have you done some more work on ‘upright bagless vacuums’?
2. Can we submit the same .exe file etc using a different keyphrase/ description etc or is it best to have a blank canvass for each key phrase?
Any way thanks for the great info. If I got as much flak as you I think I’d quit sharing info in about 30 seconds flat!
ya i noticed that too except where i am i am number 9 of google on page one for the one term. I will have to do a little snooping with the google filters to see if i can see why… you would think it would be the opposite.
No i do not reuse the same exe files ever.
I already downloaded Brad’s pdf through another link, but I’d love to see your strategy if you’re willing to share. Traffic is my major need at this point.
And unlike some of the above posters, I will actually TRY your strategy.

Thanks for the video. I have seen this technique before, but never took the time to actually try it. Yesterday that changed! I followed your video step by step and submitted my pad file. I only had the trial submitter so it wasn’t submitted to as many sites as yours was.
Something strange happened though. I was already ranking at position number 8 on Google for the keyword I submitted. However, today I have dropped all the way down to page 5. Have you seen anything like this before? I don’t doubt your technique since I know it works for you and many others, I’m just curious as to what could have gone wrong with mine.

There was a post up top that this technique should only be used on “sniper sites” and not long term e commerce site because google looks at this as spammy backlinks and it is considered black hat. Could you please address this because I do want to try it out on one of my e commerce sites but want that clarified first, thank you for your help.
I totally disagree with with that comment. There is nothing spammy about these links and these are well respected sites to Google. The key is to offer exactly what you say… and make sure it is good quality.

#1 – How is what i did creating unrelated links. I create a related product that goes to related categories on these sites?
#2 – How is this black hat. These sites allow fast pad submissions and I am following all the rules and offering exactly what i say i am offering.

Here is where i was coming from… just for your FYI.
1. How was the comment “But seriously on a term like “The Keyword Minute” how hard could that really be.” is not negative. What he is 100% saying is … “big deal, like that term is so hard to rank for”.
It had nothing to do with Brad’s software or anything else… it was directed completely at what i posted. So yes it was negative.
2. I have no patience for that and the reason is people that leave comments like that are doing nothing positive for anyone. the comment was meant to do nothing but belittle what i was sharing and downplay it. Ego has nothing to do with it.
I have had a lot of members in my sites that i have helped and I can tell you right now, i have not met one that has made profitable go of this that look at things like this and immediately say things like “so what, i could do that”. The intent of my reply is, show me… nothing else.
3. If that was an attempt at humor… well then sorry I guess i am not a fan of that kind of humor.
You see, this here is my blog, my venting ground, my sharing ground and well.. my blog. So i say it liek i see it and thats a big reason people come back here.

As the biggest guru hater out there (see my previous comments on the Health thing you were pushing) I can honestly say that……both of the pieces of content here are 100% genuine and informative. The Keyword Minute report has a couple of great strategies for turning keywords into cash, one of which I’ve been using for a few years (the CB one). The other 2 are new to me but I’ll give them a go. As for your secret ranking strategy, of course it 100% works. It’s one of the easiest ways of getting backlinks out there and because of my background (software) it was how I got in to this whole world of rankings and SEO, by accident of course.
It’s the people that see everything as a scam that will never ever make bugger all online. And for all the complainers out there why so precious over an e-mail address, use a secondary one if you’re really that worried?
